Mission

The purpose of the

Hays-Caldwell Women's

Center is to create an environment where violence and abuse are not tolerated in the communities we serve. The Center will provide education, violence prevention services, and crisis intervention to victims of family violence, sexual assault and child abuse. We will seek the support and resources necessary to achieve this mission.

Four years ago, HCWC's Children's Advocacy Center, known as Roxanne's House, helped a young victims of child abuse and her mother.  This is their story, but the names have been changed to protect their identities.

Each member of our staff and board is meeting with community members from different towns that we serve.  This exciting work involves communities advising HCWC about how their town can increase awareness of abuse issues and how HCWC can help victims.

30th Annual Auction Raised
the Most Funds Ever!

 

Thank you to everyone for helping make our 2014 Auction the best ever.  An estimated 350 guests helped us raise almost $90,000 to help victims of abuse.  Save the date for next year -- April 18, 2015.

HCWC Happenings
      

This year, Chick-fil-A's Cow Classic golf tournament held at

Plum Creek in Kyle

raised over $5,419

for HCWC.
