Jesus In The Middle Of My Mess!
The God Who jumps IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MESS!
God LOVES to get IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MESS!
God's SPECIALTY is turning MESSES into MESSAGES!
Any mess you find yourself in or any mess you've made, GOD IS NOT THE LEAST BIT HESITANT OR RELUCTANT TO JUMP IN THE MIDST OF IT, if only invited.
God is the ORIGINAL PITY-PARTY CRASHER!
GOD IS NOT ASHAMED OF ME IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MESS!
God anticipated each MY MESSES before I was even born and provided for my deliverance in advance! He is NOT shocked or surprised at what happens to me or inside me! Instead He stands ready and with open arms to HELP!
I SHOULD NOT BE EMBARASSED THAT I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A MESS! Rather I should count it all joy just to get to know Him better as my deliverer! I must LOOK to Him! I must take Him at His Word! I must press in even closer to His heart!
- Whether that mess is caused by my own bad decisions, or
- Whether that mess is caused by other people, or
- Whether that mess is caused by circumstances beyond my control.
- Messes invariably happen by virtue of living in this fallen imperfect world. This is a sin-riddled planet we live in.
- Sometimes I MYSELF am the reason for the messes, because there is something amiss inside me, in which case God is even MORE INTERESTED in fixing both MY MESS I'VE MADE and THE MESS INSIDE ME! LOL!
- IN ANY CASE, MY MESS IS HIS OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW HIMSELF STRONG! All I must do is sincerely present MY MESS to Him and invite Him into the middle of it!
- I should not be SHY or DELAY in inviting Him into MY MESS! He is NOT ashamed of me just because I'm in trouble! His love and feelings for me have NOT changed just because of my new dilemma!
Jesus In The Middle Of My Mess!
- Shadrach, Meshach and Abedneggo in Daniel chapter 3: Jesus Himself or Jesus' Angel was the 4th Man in the Fire... IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR MESS! (They created their own mess by refusing to compromise with the gods of their culture! They could have bowed to Ole Neb's statue like the rest of the Jewish captives and the other nationalities present, then could have asked for and received forgiveness later. But no, they drew a line in the sand by refusing to bow in disobedience to God! Today we are offered the same shortcuts, the same counterfeits, the same chances to compromise... just in different gift-wrappings! Our culture's golden statues are Gay Marriage, the entire LGBT Agenda (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender), Abortion and Islamic Tolerance. At every turn, Satan offers us another chance to bow to these immoral values and issues! In fact the world we presently live in DEMANDS we change God's Word and CONFORM to their warped values in the name of tolerance and diversity! Political Correctness is the Golden Statue of our day!)
The problem with BOWING is that BENDING and BURNING usually follow!
Sometimes doing the RIGHT THING gets you into a MESS!
All the time doing the WRONG THING will get you into a MESS, either sooner or later... guaranteed!
Trying not to do ANYTHING will for sure get you into a MESS! Someone has said that the most dangerous place to be standing is IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.
Just walk with God, and let Him take care of the MESSES as they may happen!
Isaiah 43:1-2 (KJV) - 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

1. HE PROMISES COMFORT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MESS
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (KJV) - 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
2. HE PROMISES DELIVERANCE FROM THE MIDDLE OF MY MESS
Psalms 91:15 (KJV) - 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
3. HE PROMISES A WAY OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF MY MESS
1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) - 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
4. HE PROMISES TO MAGICALLY MAKE MY MESS INTO SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL!
Nehemiah 13:2 (KJV) - 2 ...howbeit our God turned the curse into a blessing.
