SOME THINGS can only be received from God in a corporate setting in a meeting with other believers... with you there IN PERSON!
Much can be taught online. Much can be learned from books. Much can be received via TV or Video. BUT MANY THINGS MUST BE RECEIVED IN PERSON in the assembly!
God is a MEETING KIND OF GOD! Much of what He does happens only in the SACRED ASSEMBLY of believers as they come together in obedience!
God is a MEETING ADDICT! Are YOU? Why or Why Not? Better identify what's truly going on in your heart!
The CORPORATE ANOINTING is stronger than any INDIVIDUAL ANOINTING!
If you think you can get away without membership and regular assembly in a local church, THINK AGAIN! My friend, you WILL INDEED get picked off by the devil at some point! Why not bury your bad experiences! Why not have the same faith the Lord has in His own idea called the local church. You are not too hurt, or for that matter, too good for a pastor and a local congregation of believers! Don't be deceived! You need a CHURCH HOME!
1 Corinthians 10:12 (MSG) - 12 Don't be so naive and self-confident. You're not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it's useless. Cultivate God-confidence.
SOME THINGS are reserved by God to be handed out only in the context of a CORPORATE ASSEMBLY!
God can COME DOWN in a special way into the midst of multiple believers worshipping that He cannot to a lone believer.
God COMES DOWN into a meeting!
God INDWELLS not only the individual believer but also the corporate GATHERING!
Genesis 49:10 (KJV) - 10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; AND UNTO HIM SHALL THE GATHERING OF THE PEOPLE BE!
SOME BLESSINGS are just not going to be mine or yours unless we are obedient to GATHER!
Hebrews 10:25 (GW) - 25 We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming.
Many Christians have FORFEITED many blessings from God out of disobedience to GATHER!
Today we have many STUNTED and OUT OF BALANCE Christians walking around that don't even know they are in such condition, because isolation begets even more isolation!
Hebrews 10:25 (NLT) - 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.
I need the other parts of the body of Christ!
The body of Christ is NOT an optional package to be added or subtracted to an automobile deal. No... the body of Christ is more like standard equipment such as the tires or the engine.
Forsake the body and forfeit many blessings!
Love the body, assemble with the body, and when necessary forgive the body, and you shall have the touch of God on your life.

Failure to assemble is akin to ROBBING THE SAINTS of the gifts and warmth God has given you to offer to His people!

Wouldn't it be pretty useless if all the different parts of my body tried to be directly connected to my head instead of being connected and coordinated together under the head in their proper positions.
