WOE or WHOA?
WOE: Definition = Utter Misery.
We should NOT view God's patience, longsuffering, kindness and mercy as His approval or apathy about evil and sin. TO DO SO IS A HUGE MISTAKE!
Isaiah 5:20-21 (KJV) - Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
When a president calls homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexual, and transgender sex - GOOD, and traditional marriage as defined by God as the union of only one man + one woman - EVIL, then a nation is in deep, deep trouble with God! Woe unto you Obama, thus saith the Lord, here in His Holy Writ!
When a president condones and calls the MURDER of 62 million babies in the womb - GOOD and abstinence - EVIL, then America is on dangerous ground! Woe unto you Mr. Obama for that which you bring upon your own head and the guilt and judgment you heap on millions! Innocent blood is on your hands! Leaders are supposed to SET THE STANDARD and RAISE THE BAR, not pollute and diminish these things!
In EVERY GENERATION Satan unleashes genocide on children because he is afraid that that particular generation might be the seed of Eve that seals his doom for all time. (Of course, THE Seed of Eve is Jesus Christ, but the body of Christ is His seed in every generation.). The devil simply cloaks the methodologies of infanticide differently for each generation so that people cannot see the bigger picture and plan of hell. THE PURPOSE OF ABORTION IS TO STOP CHAMPIONS FROM BEING BORN INTO THE EARTH! Satan gift-wraps the same hellish plan over and over again in new packaging so that the new generation cannot discern the repetition of evil. He cloaks evil as good, dressing it in new clothes each time he campaigns against children. Israel sacrificed their babies to foreign idols. Pharoah had all the man-child's of Israel thrown out. Herod had all the toddlers executed. The list goes on and on... the Holocaust, Stalin's purges, ethnic cleansings, famines, starvations, draughts, WWI, WWII, terrorism, tribal conflicts, warring factions, etc, etc. ad infinitum ad nauseum. Always the goal to MURDER CHILDREN in every way possible! KILL THE SEED!
Psalms 106:38 (NIV) - They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.
2 Kings 21:16 (NIV) - Moreover, Manasseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end—besides the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, so that they did evil in the eyes of the LORD.
Whoa or Woe? Which shall it be?
Isaiah 30:15 (KJV) - For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
God says JUDGES may not legislate from the bench and wreak havoc on a nation through immorality, indecency, and murder. A judge WITHOUT THE FEAR OF THE LORD is extremely dangerous to any society!
2 Chronicles 19:5-7 (KJV) - And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city, And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment. Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
God gives individuals and nations a chance to say "WHOA!" ("Wait a minute; I think I'll change my ways with God's help!") But after a season, if they refuse there is nothing left but "WOE!"

Why haven't any of our NATIONAL LEADERS called this nation to repentance, fasting and prayer like our national leaders of old did on so many occasions? Are they blind? Can they not see the CRISES our nation is facing on every front? Does the President not realize America is on the brink of extinction? Do our leaders not know their world history? Most of our national leaders do NOT have a CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW!
The forces of postmodernism, atheism, liberalism, socialism, materialism, hedonism, globalism, and feminism have conspired together, some knowingly and others unwittingly, to PUSH AMERICA OFF THE CLIFF morally, economically, and in every way.
Even the heathen king of Nineveh "GOT THE MESSAGE" and led his city in repentance, fasting and prayer! But the arrogance, ignorance and insolence of our rebellious president, the radical activists he has surrounded himself with, and also our judges and legislators... stops them from humbling themselves and truly helping those they lead and represent! This is the crime of all crimes... to rob an entire nation of the chance to repent and seek God afresh!
The Old Commandment of "Love
thy neighbor as thyself" got UPGRADED to "Love one another as I have loved you," the New Commandment!
The best you could do under the Old Testament was to consider how you yourself would want to be treated, in order to ascertain how to treat another. But under the New Testament since we have GOD IN THE FLESH - Jesus who has skin on, as our living example, we can now ask a better question. How can I love this person as much as Jesus loves me?
Someone has noted: The same God that will judge you most finally also loves you most fully!
Without justice there can be no mercy. Mercy automatically means the existence of justice, or there would be no reason to offer it!
Psalms 89:14 (KJV) - Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Justice is a beautiful thing! Mercy even more beautiful!
James 2:13 (NLT) - For there will be no mercy for you if you have not been merciful to others. But if you have been merciful, then God's mercy toward you will win out over his judgment against you.
Psalms 85:10 (KJV) - Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Mercy and justice are NOT antithetical but work hand in glove to bring about God's plans and purposes for man!
WHOA or WOE?
God grants individuals, people-groups, and nations SPACE and TIME to repent, but the door of opportunity sooner or later closes.
Revelation 2:21 (KJV) - And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Revelation 2:21 (NLT) - I gave her time to repent, but she would not turn away from her immorality.
Revelation 2:21 (GW) - I gave her time to turn to me and change the way she thinks and acts, but she refuses to turn away from her sexual sins.
Deuteronomy 8:20 (KJV) - As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

This is NOT a game! This is NOT a joke!
A person's eternity and a nation 's existence DEPEND ENTIRELY upon OBEDIENCE TO GOD. Jesus did His part! Nations, empires, societies, kingdoms, cultures, and dynasties have come and gone! A classic book was written in the 1930's called "SEX AND CULTURE." In this book, the author clearly shows, over and over again throughout history, the direct relationship between a culture's morality and it's longevity or extinction! There can be no mistake about it: CULTURES HAVE COME UNDER WOE BEFORE. America is not exempt. God shows no favoritism!
Shall AMERICA become EXTINCT or EXTANT?
REPENT is NOT a 4-letter word! Far from it! It is ANOTHER CHANCE word of hope and a fresh start!
