FEAR NOT! - How often throughout the Bible Jesus speaks those words to people needing a miracle. Yet when we read them, we so flippantly glaze over them, unaware of the power of those words spoken in those moments. Jesus was using HIS OWN FAITH (not just trying to get people out of fear in the natural. Not just saying, MAN UP, GET A GRIP, STOP BEING A SISSY, QUIT BEING A COWARD, etc.).
Jesus BELIEVED that those words from the mouth of God contained the very power to deliver the person from the grip of fear. Like the Father, He had FAITH in His words FEAR NOT!
If a mere man tells another man, FEAR NOT or BE NOT AFRAID, that is one thing. But if GOD says FEAR NOT, it's another thing altogether! Those words actually CONTAIN THE POWER to neutralize the fear in the person, to dissolve those feelings and forces overwhelming that person.
1 John 4:18 (AMP)
There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love *turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear *brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love's complete perfection].
Fear ATTRACTS the negative - Faith ATTRACTS the positive.
Fear attracts sickness and disease.
Faith attracts health and strength.
Fear attracts demons. Faith attracts angels.
Fear attracts failure. Faith attracts success.
Fear attracts depression. Faith attracts joy.
Medical scientists tell us that FEAR causes the pores of our skin to open up too much and makes us susceptible to absorbing more germs and viruses.
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
I must CHOOSE which spirit I will YIELD to: The spirit of fear -OR- the spirit of power, love and a sound mind!
I choose! Something bad happens. Or I hear some bad news. Emergency! Oh no! Suddenly fear comes rushing in! Now's the time I must choose! I DECIDE to which I will YIELD. Succumb to those old emotions and a possible panic attack or... yield to God's power, God's love and the Mind of Christ ON THE SPOT! My choice! No one else to blame!
Fear neutralizes!
Faith optimizes!
Fear paralyzes!
Faith vitalizes!
Fear is your and my ARCH-ENEMY!
Fear is NEVER a friend!
Fear is the FAKE-OUT!
Faith is the KNOCK-OUT!
Oral Roberts: Whenever fear comes knocking at your door, always answer it with faith!
Someone has said that there are 365 scriptures that discuss FEAR NOT or Don't Be Afraid. If that's so, then God is telling us NOT TO WALK IN FEAR for each and every day of the year.
Fear is the anticipation of LOSS.
Faith is the anticipation of GAIN.
All fears have their ROOTS in the primal fear: THE FEAR OF DEATH.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Fear of Death causes:
1. Fear of Man
2. Fear of Failure
3. Fear of the Future
To conquer FEAR you must see it as your enemy, like you see sin as your enemy.
You must hate FEAR and what it does to you and others.
You must ATTACK FEAR with ANTI-FEAR scriptures!
You must PROGRAM your heart and mind with FAITH scriptures.
You must IMMUNIZE yourself with scriptures that DISARM FEAR.
Do NOTHING out of FEAR.
Refuse to make any decision about your future in conglomeration with FEAR. Collaborate with FAITH instead.
Act like the FAITH HEROES of Hebrews Chapter 11. Let these FAITH-WALKERS and WORD-TALKERS become your mentors!
Fear of man is a trap!

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Numbers 14:9 (KJV)
Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
Fear of man can actually cause you to rebel against God!
Isaiah 8:12 (KJV)
Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
Fear can come rushing in on you SUDDENLY! See this as Satan's smoke screen to keep you from receiving from God in your hour of need. Resist all emotions that flood you with fear! How? By speaking the Word immediately! By using the name of Jesus instantly... aloud!

All bad decisions have their root in FEAR.
Refuse to make a major decision about your life or the lives of others while you are experiencing thoughts or feelings of fear. Wait until you have gotten the fear out of the way first!
Don't tolerate fear! Don't go to bed with fear! Don't make friends with fear! Don't strike a deal with fear!
