Possessing Power & Prowess in Warfare

A favorite tactic of the enemy is THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE.
1st thing one needs to do to succeed in spiritual warfare is to DISCERN: "Uh-oh, I am under attack!" The faster you admit the season you have entered, the faster you can gain the upper hand! You must DISCERN THE MODE you are presently in.
Mark Chapter 4: Parable of the Sower - 5 Things come to take away the Word (usually in this order):
1. People Pressure (persecution),
2. Circumstantial/Physical Pressure (affliction),
3. Mental Pressure (cares of this world), 4. Financial Pressure (deceitfulness of riches),
5. Emotional Pressure (lust of other things).
THE BATTLE IS FOR THE WORD! The Word makes you dangerous! The Word makes you a THREAT! The enemy comes to take THE WORD out of you or to take you out of the Word. Don't take a season of warfare personal, or as a sign of weakness or failure. THE BATTLE IS FOR THE WORD IN YOU, THE WORD TO YOU, THE WORD FROM YOU BLESSING OTHERS, THE WORD TAKING ROOT IN YOU. The Word is the devil's undoing and he knows it.
STEP 1. Use the Name of Jesus ALOUD WITH YOUR MOUTH as a Battle Axe! Philippians 2:9-11 "AT (the mention of) THE NAME OF JESUS..."
- THAT NAME is above every other name. The authority of THAT NAME spoken in faith by the believer TRUMPS every other name in creation... depression, cancer, poverty, lack, confusion, bad dreams, nightmares, oppression, demons, discouragement.... any bad thing you can name is UNDER THE NAME OF JESUS and can be REMOVED BY THAT NAME forcefully and immediately!
- When you cannot think of a scripture yet to apply to your pressing situation, you can ALWAYS use THE NAME until you recieve mental clarity and the pressure is off you! Just keep slamming that NAME OF JESUS... ALOUD into the devil's face... until you sense a breakthrough! Hallelujah!
STEP 2. Become a "PUT-ON" by regularly PUTTING OFF and PUTTING ON all the things the Apostle Paul and Isaiah 61 says to put off and put on, especially the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD.
- Ephesians 6:10-20 THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD: Put on each piece in prayer ALOUD with your mouth by faith. A faith transaction. Feelings and results will only follow ACTING ON YOUR FAITH. DOING THE WORD, WORKS!!!!
- Isaiah 61 : Put on BEAUTY in place of ASHES, GLORY instead of SHAME, GARMENT OF PRAISE for HEAVINESS, OIL OF JOY to replace MOURNING.
(You can get rid of depression which the Bible calls heaviness and mourning.)
- "Above all... the shield of faith." The shield of "being sure of what we hope for and being certain of what we cannot see." (He 11:1) The shield of "calling those things which be not as though they were." (Ro 4)
- CANCEL negative words, words of bondage, unscriptural words OTHERS have spoken over you or to your face. Aloud in prayer, command these words to DROP TO THE GROUND! Render them helpless and powerless to come to pass in your life!
STEP 3. Pray in Tongues often and much (praying in the Spirit). You may not be aware of everything you need to pray for over yourself or others, but the Holy Spirit is aware and can pray the PERFECT WILL OF GOD through you. 1 Corinthians chapter 14 and Romans chapter 8.
- Don't be ashamed of your prayer language just because some Christians reject the experience and forfeit this supernatural gift because of errant theology. If they don't want the daily benefit of praying in tongues like Jesus and Paul speak of, that is their choice. What is that to you? You know better! You obey God! USE YOUR PRAYER LANGUAGE in warfare for yourself and others! OFTEN! CONSTANTLY!
- Fast Bubbling prayer language is PRAISE. Travailing, Laboring and Groaning prayer language is INTERCESSION or WARFARE! Slow Succinct prayer language is either PETITION or simple FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD. Follow these promptings and leanings and pray them out until you feel a release in your heart. The Old-Timers used to call this "PRAYING THROUGH!"
- Go back and forth between English and Tongues when you pray and you will receive more inspiration when you pray in English. Pray in tongues often (you can do so silently or in a whisper) when reading and meditating on God's Word, and you will be amazed at the truths that will jump out at you from the pages of your Bible!
STEP 4. Perfume the air around you with PRAISE. Disinfect the atmosphere! Atmosphere is everything!
- The same praises that are a sweet fragrance to God are a disinfectant against demons and spititual darkness. The same praises that sound like music to God's ears sound like cussing and eviction notices to the enemy.
- God INHABITS praises, the Bible says! If you want to quit feeling pressure and a cloud of darkness around you, lift up your voice loudly and unashamedly in praise, so that the felt presence of God can infuse the atmosphere. God's Presence is real and can be felt, just like the oppressive or depressive presence can be felt!
- Your choice... to leave yourself feeling bad or better! Your choice... to let the devil's hordes hang around or to banish them from your presence and life! Get militant! Get fed up with the enemy's plots and ploys and oppression by deciding to PRAISE GOD WILDLY, FERVENTLY and REGULARLY!
