The Spirit of Delusion is presently running rampant on the planet!

 

As I listen to people debate things on TV news channels and at work, I am convinced that there is a STRONG SPIRIT OF DELUSION upon most Americans at this time in our history.

 

America has been lulled to sleep by seducing spirits and doctrines (teachings, values, belief systems, philosophies) of devils. The most powerful and destructive kinds of demons are TEACHING DEMONS. And these TEACHING DEMONS are everywhere... in our universities by the hordes, in the media by the droves, inhabiting most politicians, and inside ignorant voters en masse.

 

1 Timothy 4:1-6 KJV - Now the Spiritspeaketh expressly,thatin the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducingspirits,and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

 

Titus 1:11 KJV - Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, TEACHING THINGS THEY OUGHT NOT, for filthy lucre's sake.

 

Because over 50% of Americans have roundly rejected Christ and forsaken the covenant our nation's founding fathers made with God, God has sent a strong spirit of delusion that they should believe a lie.

 

America is UNDER A SPELL that we have brought on ourselves. This SPELL or CURSE can only be removed by diligent INTERCESSORS who will stand in the gap for the ignorant and them that are out of the way. Only as believers TAKE THE SINS OF THE NATION UPON THEMSELVES AND REPENT as Daniel did before God, can this SPELL be lifted and REVIVAL ENSUE!

 

2 Thessalonians 2:11 KJV - And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie...

 

America has been HYPNOTIZED by radical politicians, the media, Hollywood, lobbyists, race-baiters, backslidden spiritual leaders, abortionists, lesbian, gays, bisexuals and transgenders, pornographers, Islamists, atheists, most professors and educators, and postmodernistic worldviews. Many Christians are also unwittingly under this SPELL.

 

Once a nation has embraced a CULTURE OF DEATH and a CULTURE OF PERVERSION, it is not long before that nation disintegrates. I am NOT saying that these sins have not always existed in every culture of every society from every century and millennium, because they have. BUT what I AM saying is that once a nation LEGALIZES and NORMALIZES and obsesses over sexual perversion and death of children, that nation is soon history instead of destiny. History fleshes this out by examples like Rome and many other empires and civilizations. Anyone who thinks to the contrary does not know their world history very well, nor their Bible.

 

It is human nature to be short-sighted and to feel like we are suspended in time, but in reality time is moving at lightning speed and it is crucial that we think long-term. Cultural trends can change overnight. Philosophies of men are fickle and someone is always dreaming up a new belief system or a new set of values. BUT ONLY THE WORD OF GOD AND A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW IS FOREVER. The problem is that too many Christians have not been trained by their leaders in a CHRISTIAN or BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW, and are thus BABES IN CHRIST when it comes to influencing their culture and society.

Each time mankind acts independently from God and establishes something in society that does not originate from God, it brings chaos. For example, the SCRIPTURE does not authorize governments to be PROVIDERS nor to give to the poor. Giving to the poor IS INDEED a godly thing and a great thing according to the scriptures, BUT... the scripture says that families, churches, and individuals, NOT governments are to take care of the poor. But today, nuts like Al Sharpton and those with erroneous premises (not based on scripture) mock anyone who tries to reign in America's SNAP (food stamps) programs and other entitlement programs. They try to paint all such persons as GREEDY AND CRUEL TO THE POOR, when all along the Bible declares "he that worketh not, let him not eat." TRUTH is not just about DOING THE RIGHT THING, but WHO IS TO DO THE RIGHT THING. The WRONG INSTITUTION DOING THE RIGHT THING IS IN REALITY... DOING THE WRONG THING!

 

Compassion is WHAT GOD SAYS IT IS, NOT what men think it is.

 

Love is WHAT GOD SAYS IT IS, NOT what men says it is.

 

Fairness is WHAT GOD SAYS IT IS, NOT what mere men say it is.

 

Justice is WHAT GOD SAYS IT IS, NOT what the mere sentimentalities of men say it is.

 

DOING GOOD is WHAT GOD SAYS IT IS, NOT what the good or bad experiences of any people say it is.

 

My elementary teacher loved me enough to tell me 2+2 does NOT equal 5. Yet today, when it comes to all things moral and ethical, most idolize SINCERITY over FACT. They feel that if someone is SINCERE in what they believe, then that is OK. Moral relativism is the new god of our culture! But I'm sorry... I may THINK I can live without oxygen, but the fact of the matter is... I can't!   And I may SINCERELY believe that when I die that I will cease to exist and that there is no such thing as a literal hell or literal heaven, BUT I WOULD BE DEAD WRONG!

 

Everything in our day comes with an owner's manual or an instruction manual, or FAQ or a help page. Would to God people realize that God has given us the same for victorious living and eternal security! IT'S CALLED THE BIBLE. If manufacturers of products know that people need a guide to their products, how much more does God our creator and the one who loves us the most know we needed His manual. WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, as they say, READ THE MANUAL! Ha!

 

Someone has wisely noted, "The One who will judge us most finally is also The One who loves us the most fully!" This is good news indeed and of great comfort! I need to know that I must give an answer to God for everything, but I also need to know that He loves me intensely! THIS IS THE BIBLE BALANCE.

 

 Romans 11:22 KJV - Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell , severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off .

 

GOODNESS and SEVERITY - The Bible balance of God's nature and character.

 

Thank God we are presently living in the era of God's GOODNESS... but NOT FOREVER. The age of HIS WRATH against all unbelief and wickedness is coming very soon, so I think I will NOT live recklessly or haphazardly. I think I will pursue His holiness to become my own, lest I miss out on the rapture, and "FACE THE MUSIC!" This is not a game!

 

Think about it for a moment: In this miraculous dispensation of GRACE that Jesus dying on the cross has made for us, God is RESTRAINING and HOLDING BACK His fury and anger because of the finished work of THE CROSS and THE BLOOD OF JESUS. But the Book of Revelation and hundreds of other Bible passages shows us that after this wonderful TIME OF GRACE AND FAVOR (while God has held back all his fury towards sin and sinners and calls all who will, to receive Him), there will be unleashed on the earth a period of HARSH BUT FAIR JUSTICE! Think about it: It is a law of science and nature - the longer one holds something back, the more powerful it becomes when it is finally unleashed. The pressure builds and boom... it explodes or burst forth! (Like a dam with a leak or clouds that grow darker and finally thunder, lightning and rain.) I DO NOT want to experience that SEVERITY side of God, so I think I will do everything I can do to stay CLOSE TO HIM and to STAY UNDER HIS GRACE! I love His GOODNESS! But neither am I naïve to dismiss His severity altogether. That would be a grave mistake of eternal consequences! I need BOTH! The realization of GOD'S SEVERITY DRIVES ME TO SUBMIT TO HIS GOODNESS! Without both the carrot AND the stick, I would not be motivated. So while I grown in THE LOVE OF GOD, I need the FEAR OF THE LORD to also motivate me!

 

Shortly after receiving Christ as my Lord and Saviour, I made a PROFOUND PLEDGE TO MY HEAVENLY FATHER, a VOW TO GOD that has sustained me for over 36 years! I told the Lord the following in deep prayer and consecration: "Lord, with the help of the Holy Spirit, and for the rest of my life, I will stay close to You, close to my Bible, close to my wife and family, close to my pastor, and close to my church, in Jesus name!" I must say that God has honored this singular vow, this solemn pledge... many, many times. On many occasions when I've been tempted to "throw in the towel" because of pressures or problems, the Holy Spirit has reminded me of what I told the Father. He has brought me back to that foundational vow and strengthened me once again to press into God, and to STAY CLOSE no matter the price, no matter the sacrifice, no matter the hardship, no matter the pain, no matter the setbacks... just to STAY CLOSE! And by STAYING CLOSE I sooner or later (usually pretty quickly) receive a second wind from His presence, and once again feel His wind beneath my wing, soaring to new heights in the Lord!

 

When you're out of steam, SNUGGLE BACK UP into the Father's arms! Stop trying to be so religious. Stop all your busyness and activity and just REST IN HIS PRESENCE. God's glory makes doing His work EASY, but if we skip BASKING IN HIS GLORY first, then spiritual work becomes difficult and HARD.

 

We are supposed to BURN HIS OIL, not OUR OWN WICK!

 

When I try to do GOD'S WORK without GOD'S PRESENCE AND TOUCH, it becomes nearly impossible to accomplish.

 

LINGER LONGER HERE before LABORING LONGER THERE.

 

Do indeed LABOR THERE, but first LINGER HERE... in God's renewing and refreshing presence. Linger long enough to FEEL or SENSE His refreshing.

 

Don't GO OUT until you've at first COME IN!
