The most common attack of the enemy against KINGDOM LEADERSHIP like pastors, evangelists, prophets, apostles and para-church organization leaders is various people that pick up CONTROLLING SPIRITS, manipulative spirits, dominating spirits.  These people can be good people but because of unresolved issues in their lives, the enemy finds a legal technicality to come on them or in them with a strong spirit of CONTROL.  This the enemy's FAVORITE ploy against God' called and anointed leaders.  The person being used to try to control your decisions, or your emotions, or your own attitudes, or your preaching and teaching messages may be used in an ACTIVE or PASSIVE fashion by the enemy.  The enemy likes to choose a family member, or a close friend, or a close ministry associate, or someone of influence in your own circle.  A person with a spirit of depression automatically invites a spirit of passive control on everyone around them, even if it is unwitting on their part.  A person with a spirit of rebellion who will not submit to God in some area of their life automatically picks up a spirit of control against Gods leaders at the same time, at least in measure.  CONTROL, MANIPULATION, DOMINATION, UNDERMINING, UNDERCURRENTS, USURPATION OF AUTHORITY, FEAR AND INTIMIDATION are Satan's FAVORITE ENTRY POINTS AND TACTICS.  His thought is to control your own thoughts.  The devil wants you to think like this:  "Well, if I choose to do such and such, or speak such and such, WHAT WILL SO-N-SO DO OR SAY OR THINK."  The enemy wants you to second guess your every move and restrict your freedom in God by you fearing a person(s)' reaction(s).  Anointed ministry requires being freely animated by The Lord and the enemy knows this, so his idea is to choke off that freedom.  This is not same scenario as a leader consulting others and getting objective ideas, help and advice.  I am discussing here about certain people used of the enemy to CONTROL a leader, to STIFLE a leader. All good leaders should want suggestions, advice and objective feedback.  Some teachers have coined these kinds of spirits I discuss here as JEZEBEL SPIRITS, ABSALOM SPIRITS, and other names that clearly identify from Old Testament and New Testament examples of these different types of CONTROLLING SPIRITS. Naming these kinds of plots and spirits that get into people like this is indeed Biblical and helpful for understanding.  Many times these spirits operate against leaders UNDERCOVER and under the guise of spirituality so that others think these USURPERS are deeply spiritual and unwittingly follow them instead of their pastor or leader.  Often these people will mix their controlling tendencies with 1) Prophecies, 2) Prayer requests, 3). Intercessors' Prayer content, 4) Philanthropy (giving). All four of these thing are good things from God but can get mixed and polluted by peoples hidden agendas and/or bad attitudes.  The enemy is a master at pressuring people and causing them to mix the spiritual with a critical and controlling spirit.   They can feel justified in their trying to control you.  Some can even become obsessed with trying to control the leader and feel their campaign against the leader is actually a mandate from God. Over time they get the Holy Spirits voice mixed up with the devils voice.  I've even learned that these kinds of spirits can come on good people TEMPORARILY because of a major life catastrophe happening to them, and then later they get healed and delivered from that spirit that came on them to wreak havoc on Kingdom leaders and affairs... but the damage was already done.
