And here is what happened to me too recently: My Own "Marriage = One Man + One Woman" Poster in my work cubicle (see the poster below) was torn down by US Army Management too, right here on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville , AL. They said they were doing me a favor so that the wrong people didn't see it and cause trouble. (They sure got a point in that regard! The ones who took it down are great people!) They said since it was posted up on my storage drawers near the top of my cubicle where many could view it, it was considered an "open area." (It's a sorry state of affairs when a Christian cannot post his beliefs, especially something wholesome and normal and true and pleasant and humorous, in his own cubicle because of fear of well-funded perverts, Obama, military policy-makers, EEO head-hunters, etc.) EVERY OTHER BELIEF OF EVERY KIND IS REPRESENTED IN MILLIONS OF CUBICLES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY (including cussing on posters and in meetings... but if one dares to mention the true definition of marriage, he or she is in jeopardy of being labeled a hatemonger, a sexual harrasser, a discriminator... BY DEFAULT!!!!!
YOU SEE THIS ISN'T A WAR ABOUT GAY EQUALITY, THIS IS ACTUALLY A WAR TO SILENCE THE INFLUENCE OF CHRISTIANS!!! I have MANY MANY posters in my cubicle declaring the Lordship of Jesus... but the Lordship of Jesus is NOT the fulcrum of offense at this present time in our national culture! THE DIVIDING LINE BETWEEN BELIEVERS AND NON-BELIEVERS IS PRESENTLY THE LESBIAN-GAY-BISEXUAL-TRANSGENDER issue. This is THE SINGULAR MOST important and pivotal issue, perhaps other than abortion, that will determine our survival as a nation and the eternal destiny of millions of people now and in our future. The fears, compromises, violence against Christians, and hatred surrounding this issue is THE FULCRUM of conflict at this moment in US history.
Since the recent Supreme Court Decision, the US Army has sent out emails to all its employees (including me) endorsing same sex marriage, circulating forms to help homsexual partners and lesbian partners garner marriage benefits. The US Army is encroaching on the first amendment and DICTATING TO US WHAT TO BELEIVE AND HOW TO ACT. It is political correctness and demonic in nature. They now have incorporated into their non-discrimination policy "gender discrimination". What this means is that an ARMY EMPLOYEE IS NOT ALLOWED TO BELIEVE OTHERWISE. Gay people have always had equal rights to everything every one else has. But now the US GOVERNMENT is making them a protected class and anyoe who DARES express the truth will be disciplined if not prosecuted.
I am now praying about how to proceed. I am a peace lover. This is reverse-sexual-harassment to dictate to anyone what they must believe and personal items they can post in their cubicle. (Actually I am not surpised or PERSONALLY OFFENDED by all this, but my concern is THE FEAR IN THE WORKPLACE that is being placed on ordinary normal singles and married couples and families.) I am not going to take any formal complaint or legal action at this time because I like the people who took my poster down, but I need to at least have a discussion with policy makers up the chain of command what they are doing to damage families and marriage by being so quick to institute trendy and dangerous political correctness into policy (that is hard to reverse once its on paper and in regulations). Perhaps the best way to handle such discrimation is to first try to INFLUENCE policy makers OUTSIDE of formal discrimination channels and simply throw some salt and light onto those who find themselves in a Catch-22 because of their employment or positions in the government.
TO SIMPLY STATE THAT ONES BELIEVES IN THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE BEING THE UNION OF ONE MAN + ONE WOMAN AT WORK, OR AT HOME, OR IN THE MARKETPLACE... IS BY NO MEANS GENDER DISCRIMINATION!
CONSIDER THIS: TO SIMPLY STATE THAT ONE BELIEVES THAT THEFT IS WRONG IS BY NO MEANS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ANYONE. TO SIMPLY STATE THAT ONE BELIEVES THAT CHILD ABUSE OR SEX TRAFFICKING IS WRONG IS BY NO MEANS DISCRIMINATION.
The Bible teaches that it is dangerous to call something evil as good, and something good as evil!
We as Government employees are required to take annual ethics training that define bad and good behavior, right and wrong, most of it just common sense, etc. But now our poor 19+ year old soldiers have to take SENSITIVITY TRAINING to make sure they conform to Army policy on "DIVERSITY" and "TOLERANCE" and never say anything about their own personal beliefs to anyone else. I've seen the briefings our poor soldiers have to endure. IT IS HYPOCRISY AND SOCIALISM AND SOCIAL ENGINEERING TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE! The perverts, Obama, and the courts are literally DESTROYING THE MORAL FABRIC OF OUR NATION AND THE FOUNDATION OF ANY SOCIETY. They are unraveling milleniums of safe, scriptural, historical, and common sense truth.
YOU SEE ELECTIONS DO INDEED MATTER. COURT APPOINTMENTS DO INDEED MATTER. VOTING CORRECTLY DOES MATTER. WRONG VOTING GETS WRONG RESULTS! SINFUL VOTING MATTERS! RIGHTEOUS VOTING MATTERS!
Because we Christians have been silent for the last 25 years, the atheists, perverts, abortionists, and socialists are taking over our culture, our economy, and the future of our children and grandchildren. Its high time we all take the risks associated with truly being SALT & LIGHT. Jesus said: "Woe be unto you if all men speak well well of you!" (I guess He was saying our walk and talk should be so salty that it separates the men from the boys, so to speak!) Ha!
