Answers to your deepest longings are getting ready to explode before your very eyes!
Head up!
Shoulders back!
Feet firm!
Hands up!

Praises up please!
Go ahead, make God's day (and yours too)! Throw yourself a Hallelujah Breakdown and after that, throw yourself another!
Praising God is simultaneously cussing the devil! (I love the thought!)
Get wild in God's presence! Lose yourself in Him! Throw away your pride and cut loose!
Whether you realize it or not, you NEED an emotional release towards God! You and I get so pent up on the inside. You and I get so wrapped around the axle with daily living. You need to get emotional before God like David danced before Him with all his might. David told that mocker Michal, "You ain't seen nothin' yet, girl!"
You and I need to get UNDIGNIFIED in God's presence! The pride has got to go! The embarassment and the shame and the shyness has got to die a timely death!
THE TWELVE SPIES Poster for Printing. For every 12 people you meet, 10 will have the wrong focus and only 2 will be focused correctly. Make sure you're one of the "Elite-2" and not part of the "Crowded-10." Are you going to live like 84% of people or like the 16% who are champions?
The Martyr John Huss (The Goose) prophesies 100 years in advance of Martin Luther's (The Swan) Protestant Reformation.
THE SHEER POWER OF GOD'S WORD: Hebrews 4:12-13 MSG - God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon's scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God's Word. We can't get away from it - no matter what!
THE SHEER POWER OF GOD'S WORD: Jeremiah 23:29 NLT - Does not my word burn like fire?" asks the LORD. "Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes rock to pieces?
THE SHEER POWER OF GOD'S WORD: Luke 1:37 ASV - For no word from God shall be void of power.
A beautiful paradox is that God rules in the affairs of men and nations and is in complete control despite men being free moral agents living in an imperfect world riddled with sin. Much that happens to us in this world is NOT GOD'S DOING WHATSOEVER, yet ultimately His Plan is accomplished. It is amazing to me that His Perfect Plan is superimposed upon men's fallen plans, and that His will is ultimately accomplished despite the horrific agendas and acts of fallen men. THIS BY NO MEANS MEANS THAT GOD IS THE SOURCE OR AUTHOR OF BAD THINGS THAT HAPPEN HERE ON EARTH, but rather that His good things ultimately win out over all those bad things spawned by sin and Satan.
1 John 5:19 KJV - And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth inwickedness.
Don't get God and Satan confused! As one man's mother taught him, "GOD GOOD - DEVIL BAD!"
Ephesians 6:12 KJV - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
God is The Deliverer. Satan is The Oppressor. That was simple!
Acts 10:38 KJV - How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him
Don't blame God for something caused by human error or the devil himself.
If you think God may be the source of your problem, how in the world can you have faith that He will help you out of it?
If you think God may be punishing you in some round about way for some mysterious reason, how can you pray with any expectation?
You cannot have authentic faith for God to remove something that you think in the back of your mind He may have placed upon you to begin with.
Jesus taught that Satan can't cast out Satan. This means that Satan is NOT divided in his character traits. The converse is true also: God is true to His own character traits and not divided in the way He acts. GOD IS CONSISTENTLY GOOD AND NEVER BAD.
Mark 3:23 KJV - And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
The stupid doctrine and idioms that "Nothing happens without God's permission first" or "Nothing happens that God has not allowed" IS DEMONIC AT ITS SOURCE AND IS STRAIGHT FROM THE PIT OF HELL!!!!!!! Such conclusions can only be deducted from some kind of warped Hyper-Sovereignty thinking and are NOT Biblically balanced. Such a viewpoint is Extra-Calvinistic at best. Such idiotic "Christianisms" are mere excuses to live a defeated life, and to let the devil beat us to a pulp. THE JESUS I READ ABOUT IN THE GOSPELS SOLVED PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS, NOT "THEOLOGIZED" ABOUT WHY BAD THINGS WERE THE WAY THEY WERE!
If these two statements about God ALLOWING THINGS were true this would make God a "Que Sera Sera God." Why bother praying over anything if "WHAT WILL BE, WILL BE" is true?
Does God allow a pimp to start a prostitution ring? No! Rather God gave men a free will and the pimp chose (allowed) himself to start the criminal activity. God is not the author of it. (So I guess you could make the argument that God allowed it by making man as a free moral agent in His own image, but this would be flawed and irrational logic. God cannot be tempted by evil neither does he tempt man with evil. To argue such is akin to accusing God of having an active part in something evil which He did not create that way.) Does God allow the formation of tornados? No! The Bible teaches that earth fell along with Adam's rebellion! The present earth is imperfect but the future earth will be restored to way God originally created it. Did God "ALLOW" the Sandy Hook elementary school mass murderer to kill those innocent children? No! God had nothing to do with it. Such "GOD ALLOWS" and "GOD PERMITS" theology comes from humans under stress when we naturally ask ourselves, "WHERE WAS GOD WHEN ALL THIS HAPPENED?" Nobody can get the right answers by asking the wrong questions.
Jesus taught us that we have to ENFORCE God's Will on this earth with our prayers. Why? Because much of what happens here is NOT His will. Why bother praying "THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE, AS IN HEAVEN SO ON EARTH" if "WHAT WILL BE WILL BE?" Why bother praying at all?
No, no, no... the bad event you are thinking of right now was NOT ALLOWED BY GOD! No! HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! Yes, God created men as free moral agents. Men are fallen and according to Romans chapter 8, creation itself is fallen along with man. So the source of bad things is not God, but the fallen world, the fallen environment we live in. We live in fallen bodies around other fallen men on a fallen planet. (And He is going to fix all this after He comes back again! Marantha, Lord Jesus, Maranatha!)
Be very careful what religious idoms you embrace! Most of them are totally WRONG! Error! Made up by stressed out human beings during times of crisis or spawned by ignorance about God's nature and character.
.....................................................................................
Here is a just a small sampling of stupid religious idioms and traditions that you need to avoid, for any one of them will NEUTRALIZE YOUR FAITH AND POWER WITH GOD, not to mention embracing these stupid ideas WILL INFECT OTHERS and ruin them too:
1. "God will never put on me more burdens than I can handle." As if God placed those burdens on you to begin with! Why not pin the tail on the right donkey... the devil! This is one of the WORST traditional sayings and beliefs that defeated Christians adopt from other defeated Christians! People even claim that God says this in the scripture. They're actually referring to portion of scripture that they know just enough about to get them in trouble. (Never can they quote the verse... they just say it's somewhere in the Bible! Instead of memorizing and meditating on 1 Corinthians 10:13 like they should, and also keeping that verse in context with the whole chapter, and also studying the Greek and other Bible versions of the same verse, and letting mature God-called leaders teach them o the subject, they instead CREATE A FALSE DOCTRINE THAT KEEPS THEM LOADED DOWN AND DEFEATED.
2. "God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to behold."
3. "God needed another flower in heaven so he took that person to heaven early." Really? Where did you find that viewpoint in your Bible?
3. "God saw that person was going to sin badly, so he killed him in advance and took him early so he wouldn't lose his salvation."
4. "Ya know, if you love your children more than God, He might take them away from you early." How utterly ridiculous!
5. "It was just their time to go I guess. You never know when God might call your number!" Said of people who die early tragic deaths.
6. "God teaches us to number our days. You never know when He might call you home." A scripture from Psalm 90 taken out of context.
7. "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord! Guess God took him!" Again a quote of Job taken out of context and without studying the Hebrew: Job was not accusing God of stealing or killing his kids. Rather Job was comforting himself in the middle of this tragedy. The original Hebrew does not say, "taketh away." It is only one single word and elsewhere in the Old Testament translated, "receive." So Job was effectively saying, "Thank God, my children came from the Lord and He has received them back to Himself." He was grieving their loss but was declaring that he knew they weren't permanently lost, but that he would see them again in glory. He knew they were now with God. He wasn't blaming God for the disaster! MILLIONS OF PARENTS AND PEOPLE HAVE TURNED SOUR TOWARDS GOD OVER THE CENTURIES BECAUSE SOME DUMB PREACHER QUOTED THIS SCRIPTURE AT A FUNERAL OUT OF CONTEXT, and quite frankly I don't blame them. Who wants to serve a Schizophrenic God that cannot decide from day to day whether He wants to bless you or break your heart! MILLIONS HAVE GONE TO HELL SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY HEARD A PREACHER OR A CHRISTIAN SAY THIS AT THE WRONG TIME, AND SO THEY DECIDED THEY DIDN'T WANT TO SERVE SUCH A CRUEL GOD IN THIS LIFE, and would rather risk eternity! Such "TABLE-TOP THEOLOGICAL STATEMENTS" that men make up in their own minds out of ignorance and in times of duress CAN DAMN PEOPLE TO ETERNITY WITHOUT CHRIST! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be careful what you say about God in front of people during their fragile times or during a crisis! Please, please, please don't misrepresent the Lord to people at the very time they are hurting the most. You could make them bitter towards God! Don't make a tragedy worse!
8. Insurance policies define hurricanes, tornados, famines, etc. as "ACTS OF GOD" which happens to be the furthest thing from the truth.
9. "If it weren't for that tragedy that happened to me, I would have never come to the Lord! Thank God, he brought that horrible event into my life! He sent that tragedy." How silly to give the tragedy the glory for your turnaround! No, no, no! The tragic event didn't bring you to God. GOD brought you to Himself when you realized how desperate you were without Him after hitting rock bottom. GOD DID NOT SEND THAT HEARTACHE INTO YOUR LIFE... but He didn't waste it either! He used it as an opportunity to get your attention about your need for Him. So glorify the God that got you out of that pit, not the pit itself! God certainly didn't send you into that pit, but in His great mercy He MET YOU IN YOUR PIT! Besides, I know a lot of people who have been drawn to Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit WITHOUT a horrible thing happening to them first. Are you telling me the only way God can get our attention is by SENDING OR ALLOWING some tragedy first? The Holy Spirit is not powerful enough to lead a person to Christ? So God is so weak He can't TALK to a person's heart? But He has to beat them up first? Not!
.....................................................................................
Why do bad things happen to good people? That is best answered by asking the converse question: Why do good things happen to bad people? If you can answer the second question, the answer to the first is self-evident! Good things happen to bad people because God loves all people and is good to all! (See Matthew 5:45.) So bad things happen to good people because Satan hates all people and is bad to all! Now that wasn't so hard after all!
Matthew 5:45 KJV - That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Perhaps a good way to view life may be the following: "God always gets the FIRST WORD and the LAST WORD on everything and everyone! Ultimately He always gets His way! Many times He intervenes because we prayed. But in the meantime, men sometimes get their own way too, and the results of a fallen world are immediately felt and often experienced from day to day until the Lord comes again."
Someone has wisely noted, "Stop counting your liabilities and start counting your blessings!" |
