Get ready for the greatest

WAVE OF REVIVAL GLORY

ever to appear on planet earth!

The Wave of Revival Glory

Never, I say, never underestimate the significance of your tiniest step obedience, even in a seemingly insignificant personal matter.  Your obedience today just may actually be the key to unlock someone else's future tomorrow.

There are PERSECUTORS and then there are also PEER-SECUTORS! Ouch!  (The latter I think hurt more than the former because they are people closer to you than ordinary persecutors with whom you are not so connected personally!  Been there, done that, got the T-shirt!)

Win today!  For the lives of many others may be indirectly hanging in the balance.

One of the most powerful secrets to victory in any compartment of our lives is the ability to think long term.  I think that may be why the enemy tries to keep us shortsighted, working overtime to get us all wrapped up in the present moment, or the tyranny of the urgent, as some call it.

What may seem like a good decision for the moment may prove disastrous in the long haul.

Think long term!

Think generationally.

Think the bigger picture.

Think about others, not just yourself.

On the other side of every decision there is either buried treasure or hidden danger.  One or the other, not both.  Only God knows.  That's why we must seek the Lord's guidance in all matters.

A Proverb-A-Day keeps Foolishness Away!

A Psalm-A-Day keeps Depression Away!

A Scripture-A-Day keeps the devil at bay!

A Prayer-A-Day makes God's Presence stay!

John Huss' name means "goose" in Bohemian.  When John Huss was martyred for Christ by being burned at the stake, he prophesied to his persecutors that they could now roast the goose, but that a swan would come in 100 years, and him they would not be able to murder.  Martin Luther was that man, and though the religious establishment fought him hard, they never were able to kill him.

In every era of church history there ALWAYS comes a FORERUNNER first, and then NEXT the MOVE OF GOD that He has intended all along.

God first SEEDS a revival, an awakening, or a move of the Spirit with a FORERUNNER who serves as an APPETIZER preparing for what is to come on a larger scale.  Often the forerunner takes the brunt of the persecution for what later will become accepted.  For Jesus' first coming, it was John the Baptist.  For Jesus' second coming it will be the church.  For the Pentecostal revival of the early 1900's it was John Alexander Dowie in the late 1800's.  For the Charismatic movement of 60's and 70's it was Oral Roberts.  In previous revivals from which well-known denominations were eventually established, they also had forerunners. First there is always an APPETIZER, then later comes the MAIN COURSE!

Keep the pressure on!  Continue to rebuke the devil until he is completely broken off the person you are praying for.  Repetition and determination is sometimes needed.  Pray until you get a breakthrough for that person.  Some demonic activity in people's lives requires persistence and repetition to see results, depending on how deep-seated those demons are active in a person's life.

Keep speaking God's Word over a person who needs His intervention.  Repetition is a necessary ingredient of intercession.  The Word from your lips spoken in prayer will sooner or later cut through that person's defenses and they will begin to hear His Word for themselves.

Hebrews 4:12-13 MSG - God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon's scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.  Nothing and no one is impervious to God's Word. We can't get away from it - no matter what.

Tell the devil "where to get off!"  Rebuke him sternly, seriously, and loudly!  Give him no place!  Resist!  Bind!  Loose!  He is a defeated foe!  He has to go!  He has no choice in the matter - Jesus saw to that on the cross.

See yourself as a devil-crusher, a demon-stomper, a menace to the powers of darkness as you stand in your position in Christ.

According to Jesus, if you are a believer, you ALREADY ARE... a scourge and threat to the devil.  Satan knows you have authority over him.  He is frightened.

Luke 10:19 KJV - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

There is a king who stepped down from his throneroom of luxury and privilege, disquised himself as a pauper, entered the garbage heap of your life, and then lifted you to the high place.

The Prince became a Pauper so that every pauper could become a prince!

To be ungrateful to the Lord for all His blessings in my life would be the ultimate slap in His face, a criminal act of defiance.  I've been blessed, and blessed, and blessed again!  I've received one blessing after another from my Creator and Redeemer.  I've received and received and received again.  How coarse and brutish I would be not to give Him thanks.  No matter the hardships I may face today, God has been consistently good to me.  Failure to recognize such would be crude and barbarian.  I choose to be "overflowing with thanksgiving" as the scripture commands.  Who am I to be so self-centered by failing to acknowledge the goodness of God in my life.  God forbid!

Luke 17:15-17 KJV - And one of them, when he saw that he was healed , turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.  And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed ? but where are the nine?

To feel blessed again, give thanks again!

To feel depressed, continue feeling sorry for yourself.

Stay and pay depression dues.
-OR-
Choose to praise away those blase' blues.

I promise you someone has it much worse than you do today!

You have thousands of reasons to thank and praise Him!  If for no other reason than you presently have breath, or for no other reason than you are one day closer to the return of Christ, or for no other reason than the fact you are NOT going to hell because of the blood of Christ.  SURELY YOU CAN FIND SOME REASON... ANY REASON... TO PRAISE HIM ALOUD WITH YOUR MOUTH!  Are you so proud, stubborn and hard-hearted that you cannot return thanks to Him for at least the simple blessings you've been taking for granted?  MY FRIEND, YOU ARE ONE BLESSED DUDE!!!!  (Even if you won't acknowledge it!)

The first thing you owe God and yourself when you go to Him in prayer is to praise yourself happy in His presence!  After that, petitioning Him for things is a cinch!  This is why "The Lord's Prayer" starts out with praise and ends in praise.  Jesus knew that prayer could become laborious and boring unless you first praised him and got happy in His presence, and then afterwards to seal it all in praise again!

Pray until you've prayed!  You know in your heart when you have done so and when you've just faked it for ritual sake!

Pray until it creates a pleasant memory.  (Mike Murdock)

The old-timers used to call it, "Praying Through!"

Pray until something breaks and melts inside you.

Pray until you posess a "note of victory" on the inside.

Pray until you sense His peace and assurance.

Pray God's Word back to Him.  Just like you love to hear your own children repeat what you've said, the Father loves to hear Himself quoted, and that you expect Him to keep His promises.  Quote the Bible verse(s) to God that promise your answer.  Hold God to His Word.  His Word is His bond.  His Word is the CRAFTING TOOL you use in prayer.  His Word is the MIRROR by which you reflect back to the Father His own image of what you want to see happen in your life.  His Word is the INCENSE that He waffs into His nostrils as you pray and petition Him.  His Word is the HAMMER that crushes every bondage of the enemy as you pray.
