Dear Friends:  You have not received my weekly devotional for about a month now.  I apologize for this, however, I have been occupied with overdosing on Bill Johnson's and Randy Clark's books, crying out for revival, fasting and praying, and asking for radical changes in my life and ministry.  I AM SO HUNGRY FOR GOD I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING TO EXPLODE IF I DON'T SEE HIS GLORY IN A GREATER MEASURE.  So please STANDBY... I haven't forgotten you!  I trust that when I resume writing the Lord will have so changed me and so grown me that I can truly help you attain a greater level in God yourself.  So STANDBY... more fresh devotions are ON THE WAY!

I am so grateful for God raising up Bill Johnson and Randy Clark and their books "Healing Unplugged," "The Essential Guide to Healing," and "When Heaven Invades Earth."  To be honest with you, I have been STARVED for the mentorship I'm receiving from these two brothers.  Their sincerity, honesty, love, and faith is so refreshing that they are literally CHANGING ME. They are "filling in the blanks" that so many other preachers leave out.  So many leaders will not actually bear their hearts with you, but get over into a "STAR" facade.  Not so with BIll and Randy.  I have been LONGING, even YEARNING for such candid and tender, yet powerful teaching as this FOR YEARS, and have not been able to find it.  I have desperately needed to be "APOSTLED" and "PASTORED" by supernatural APOSTOLIC PASTORS myself, and thanks to my friend Jim Oxendine, I am now connected to an UMBILICAL CORD of warm nutritious supply.  ANOINTING is transferred by ASSOCIATION.  ANOINTING is imparted by sitting at the feet of another and simply receiving.  I can truly say (and I think many others who know me will testify of this too), that through the years I have literally PICKED UP the spirit of Watchman Nee and possessed the spirit of Mike Murdock, because I asked God to give me their spirits and anointings and because I overdosed on their books, reading them over and over again.  But now I am crying out to God for the spirits of Randy Clark and Bill Johnson.  I am determined to flow in the spirit and charcter of their hearts.  My heart is set on obtaining the same anointing they have on their lives and ministries.  I WILL POSSESS WHAT THEY POSSESS!  They are teaching me SO MUCH!  I am a student... always a student!  I want to grow, and grow I will!  Frankly, I am soaking up every word they say like a baby feeding on milk.  I hang on every word and every story!  I am not satisfied with my present level of experience with God so I am pressing in for more with a sense of desperation and passion! 

Never in all my life have I received so many confirmations, so many nuggets of truth, as I have from Bill and Randy.   Their books are a dream come true for me.  Thank you, Father!  They have even showed me what happened in the mid-90's when such glorious revival I experienced seemed to just abruptly stop. (It was a horrible experience to say the least, after an extended period of such glory and power!)   I had no idea how to stay in the flow, to keep the fire burning, or to continue in a sustainable state of glory.  Now I understand!  Understanding has come!  Light has broken through!  I'm down on my knees CRYING OUT with desperation in private and taking risks in public again!  Hallelujah!  AWESOME!  Somewhere in the body of Christ there exists the answers we each need if we will only REACH, humble ourselves to SEEK, and RECEIVE FRO OTHERS.  None of us have arrived (even Paul the Apostle said this in Philippians), and God almost always chooses to nourish us INDIRECTLY through others, instead of DIRECTLY to us, because this results in more humility on our part.  Receiving from someone with "SKIN ON THEM" also makes God's revelations personal and warm, like the twelve sitting at the feet of Jesus as he taught, beholding his face and watching His expressions.

I am on a QUEST for MORE!  MORE, Lord, MORE!
