We're all tempted to quit from time to time, and that sometimes sorely. Life on earth has its moments of hardship, boredom, and frustration. A feeling to "Just Give Up" is experienced by even the strongest person. Ever wanted to just "Throw In The Towel?" I've been there many times. But the Holy Spirit is "Fire In My Bones" and He won't let me quit, try as I may like . Inspiration comes again! Courage returns! Hope rises again!
Jeremiah 20:9 NLT - And I can't stop! If I say I'll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It's like a fire in my bones! I am weary of holding it in!
Jeremiah 20:9 GNT - But when I say, "I will forget the Lord and no longer speak in his name," then your message is like a fire burning deep within me. I try my best to hold it in, but can no longer keep it back.
Jeremiah 20:9 NCV - Sometimes I say to myself, "I will forget about the Lord. I will not speak anymore in his name." But then his message becomes like a burning fire inside me, deep within my bones. I get tired of trying to hold it inside of me, and finally, I cannot hold it in.
