Last Saturday, 6 August, Life International joined The Rock Family Worship Center live streaming of the historic fasting and prayer event in Houston, TX called "The Response USA," aired from the Reliant Stadium. This was the most beautiful and powerful meeting I have ever participated in... bar none! 30,000 believers in Reliant Stadium and 1300 live streaming locations, as well as GodTV joined in intense fasting and prayer for our nation. No speakers were announced. No ministries were promoted. No books or CDs were sold. No denomination or ministry style was pushed. No agenda but God's! Only PURE PRAYER, GLORY, AND UNITY IN THE SPIRIT OF HUMILITY. I have never seen anything like it in my life. I believe this will be the new model for mega-gatherings of believers in the future. Jesus was the only name exalted during this historic event. The blending of fasting, corporate prayer, praise & worship, short exhortations by respected leaders, individual prayer, small group prayer, targeted prayer subjects... all of this was nothing less than PHENOMENAL! From 6:30 to 7:00 PM - Intense corporate prayer.
7:00 to 7:30 PM - Bible Study in discussion format.
7:30 to 8:00 PM - Warm Fellowship and refreshments

Trust is passive - Faith is active. Both have their place in the believer's life.

Faith speaks it! Faith receives it! Faith rejoices about it before seeing it!
Faith without corresponding action is dead.
James 2:26 WNT - For just as a human body without a spirit is lifeless, so also faith is lifeless if it is unaccompanied by obedience.
