Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society

The Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society and Garden Spot Village lecture series "Early Churches in Lancaster County" continues Monday, July 22, 7:00 p.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel with a discussion on the Moravians in Lititz. // There are also opportunities to support the Society through volunteering, either on a weekly basis or at the Annual Bookworm Frolic, August 14-17. Conversations in Dementia at Landis Homes

There will be a support group meeting for caregivers of persons with memory loss and other forms of dementia on Tuesday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Warwick Room of The Heritage Center, the memory support center at Landis Homes at 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz. The topic for the evening meeting and discussion will be, "Conversations in Dementia," presented by Leon Kraybill, MD. Dr. Kraybill is a Geriatric Specialist at Lancaster General Health. For more information or to arrange for respite care, call Landis Homes (717) 581-3939.

No Longer Alone Ministries Benefit
 
Resounding Joy: A Concert to benefit No Longer Alone Ministries, will take place on Friday, Aug 2, 2013, at 7:30 pm, at Lancaster, Mennonite School Fine Arts Center, 2176 Lincoln Hwy E. Concert features: Neal Harnly, MD, Ruth Kenote, mezzo soprano, Rev. Jean-Christophe Robert, David Hoagland, Gail Ober, And Marie Kerseth Kenote. No ticket needed. A freewill offering will be received. 
Kairos Sabbath Space

For pastors, chaplains and other leaders who care for the souls of the people they serve, begins September 2013-May 2014. Two classes are open for registration; one at Wernersville, the other at Carlisle, PA. Each is held one day a month, 9:00 am-3:30 pm.
