Use your discretion and print only what will be valuable to your congregation. This information will be sent to you only once. Use your judgment as to how often you run the same information in your bulletin. At least twice prior to an event is recommended. Perhaps you could use a calendar of future events in your bulletin and list it in a shortened form after the initial announcement has been made.

Retired CIA Officer Turned Peace Activist to Speak

Ray McGovern, retired CIA officer, now peace activist, will speak at East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church, 432 East Chestnut Street, Lancaster on Saturday evening, November 3, at 7:00 pm, on the subject: "Moved by the Spirit: One Man's Journey in Speaking Truth to Power." His talk will include observations on U.S. foreign policy, 911, drone warfare, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Donations for Mr. McGovern's honorarium will be received at the event. Sponsor of the event is www.1040forpeace.org, a voice of conscientious objection to the militarization of American society.
Christianity and the Native American Experience

The church transcends cultural boundaries: Linford Fisher, a Lancaster Bible College graduate now teaching at Brown University, will speak on "Christianity and the Native American Religious Experience" at Landisville Mennonite Church, Monday, November 12, 7:00 PM.
