Presidential Opportunity Profile |
The University of Valley Forge (UVF) seeks its next president to lead the university to a new season of growth and economic sustainability through strategic, visionary and biblical servant-leadership, building a strong community for students, faculty and staff. UVF is accepting nominations and applications for the position of President. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the visionary leadership and strategic planning necessary to ensure the university's continued record of successful achievement in all academic and administrative areas.

Welcome One and Welcome All
|
UVF welcomed new and returning students to the 2016-2017 academic year beginning on Friday, Aug. 26. The Class of 2020 checked-in and made their way to their new homes on campus that Friday, while returning students arrived on Sunday, Aug. 29, and Monday, Aug. 30. The enthusiasm was palpable as they reconnected with their friends and professors. There is much to look forward to this year, including the opening of the newly expanded student center later this fall! The beginning of a new academic year is an exciting time as the university prepares for God's direction in molding student's for their greater purpose. Progress on the student center expansion continues to move forward! In time for the return of new and returning students, the Patriot Store opened its doors on Aug. 26, 2016. Polo shirts, hoodies, sweat pants, hats and a wide assortment of other UVF gear is now available. The option to purchase items online will be available in the near future. Other improvements that are part of the renovations include a new HVAC system which was installed on Aug. 31, 2016, and the new rehearsal space for Music Department students in Capeci Hall. A grand opening celebration of the student center, which includes an enlarged lounge and new restroom facilities, is planned during Homecoming at 2 pm on Friday, October 21.

UVF Welcomes New Faculty member Tim Jackson

There is a new but familiar face in the digital media faculty office above the student center Anvil. Tim Jackson '15 officially became the new full time specialist in the Digital Media - Video Production program.

UVF Welcomes Professor for Criminal Justice Program
|
The Department of Behavioral Sciences welcomes Associate Professor Derek Clepper. Clepper is serving as director of the Criminal Justice program. As director, he is working to improve the program and its curriculum, advise students and share his knowledge and experience as a trial attorney/litigator.

UVF Welcomes Sport Management Program Director
|
The Department of Business welcomes Assistant Professor Teelah Grimes. Grimes serves as Sport Management program director.

Social Work Program Gains Reaccreditation Until 2024
|
The University of Valley Forge Social Work program was recently reaccredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

The Conference Center at Valley Forge

The Conference Center at Valley Forge is an integral part of UVF, providing conference and overnight accommodations to individuals, organizations and churches in a beautiful setting. Priced at reasonable rates, this property is also available to visitors, students, faculty, staff and friends coming to the area for personal or college-related events such as open house, homecoming and commencement. Located four miles from the UVF campus, The Conference Center at Valley Forge offers exceptional customer service and amenities. All guest rooms include a private bath and can accommodate multiple people.
The grounds and facilities provide the perfect setting to meet, learn and collaborate in one of our nine meeting rooms. The property and its ballroom also serve as a scenic backdrop for weddings and other social functions.
