Davis, James O. What To Do When The Lights Go Out. Cutting Edge International, 2010.
Unexpected disappointments, grief, trials, setbacks, loss; these are all experiences that none of us wish to encounter, but unfortunately we do. When we come across these moments in our life it is easy to listen to that hopeless voice asking, "Where is God?" or "Why does this have to happen to me?" Amidst these circumstances hope can seem like an unattainable state of being. Dr. James O. Davis addresses these tumultuous seasons of our lives and offers hope in his book "What To Do When the Lights Go Out." Davis takes the reader on a journey from a disheartened perspective to that of renewed hope and vision. This is an excellent read for any encountering a dark season of their life or anyone looking to encourage someone else in their faith. Davis' hope-filled and Scripturally supported book will encourage you through your darkest of times and teach you how to walk with a healthy and godly perspective.
