Leadership Tools by Dr. Don Meyer

Willard, Dallas. "Hearing God: Developing a Conversational Relationship with God." InterVarsity Press, 1999.

How often do we ask God for guidance and wait for His response? When making decisions or pondering the next steps in life or whatever it may be, seeking to hear from God becomes a priority. But how do we hear God? How do we develop that intuition to listen when God speaks? Too many times we expect God to appear in an extreme, spectacular way, but there will be times it is His still, small voice that we must learn to recognize. Dallas Willard offers valuable insights into how to recognize God's response and the different ways He speaks within his book "Hearing God: Developing a Conversational Relationship with God." He discusses the importance of developing a personal relationship with God, first, in order to be aligned with His will for us. Without this essential component, there is no way to really understand God's words to us. Willard's book will be a wonderful tool to help you grow in a closer relationship with the Lord and learn to hear Him more."
