With great anticipation, Valley Forge Christian College (VFCC) announces its transition to university status. In a year that has been filled with milestones that included the celebration of its 75th anniversary, the gift of The Conference Center at Valley Forge and the expansion of its academic programs, the college will officially become the University of Valley Forge (UVF) on Sept. 16, 2014.
The transition to university was made possible in part due to the support and contributions of thousands of alumni, employees, board members and denominational leaders who were instrumental in building UVF. President Don Meyer, Ph.D., stated, "We hold a deep appreciation for those who have gone before, who have sacrificed to build the foundation from which we launch the University of Valley Forge." He continued, "As we make this momentous change, we have the privilege to take the best of the past and create a life-changing environment that will transform students to accomplish all that God has for them."
