The Impressive Writing Career of Dr. Richmond

Over the years, music education in the United States has only reached approximately 20 percent of the student population. Technological development, however, has given educators an effective way to reach the remaining 80 percent, who would not know much about music otherwise. This is the exciting world of music education in which Dr. Richmond is publishing textbooks and course curriculum.

"One of the most important values that I took from my time at Northeast Bible College (now VFCC) was that I could trust the Lord for the direction of my life even as an adult. At the time, little did I know of the amazing journey I would take over the next two decades of my life."

In addition to being a successful true crime author and an esteemed lecturer, Lang has been appointed to the highly selective Consulting Committee of the American Investigative Society of Cold Cases, which seeks justice in the most baffling crimes - not to support the prosecution or defense, but to find the truth.

The Book of Luke recounts one of Christ's most straightforward statements concerning those in need: "Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise." VFCC has partnered with Good Samaritan Shelter to help those who live in desperation, by hosting Night of Awareness - an event to raise awareness and funds for this very issue.

Leadership Tools by Dr. Don Meyer

Andrews, Andy. "The Noticer." Thomas Nelson, Inc.: Nashville, 2009.
Life. It's like a winding set of roads leading somewhere or, conversely, what looks to be nowhere. When we get stuck at the "dead ends" in life we often find ourselves thinking that there is no way out. It's a hopeless feeling that leaves us with a warped perspective on the future. Andy Andrews writes "The Noticer," which is all about the "dead ends" of life and the perspective we need to find a hidden exit. Andrews is a bestselling author and corporate speaker who helps us redefine our desperations and struggles. He uses a clever story of an old man named Jones who is a self-proclaimed noticer. He has the ability to see past a town's momentary hardships to future opportunities that will come as a result of their misery. Sometimes we just need a "noticer" in our lives to help us see past the walls we face and look forward to what lies just on the other side. As Andrews writes, "Your chance to regroup, take a breath, and begin your life again awaits in the simple wisdom and heartwarming story of a man named Jones."
