Leadership Tools by Dr. Don Meyer
|
Morgan, Robert J. "The Red Sea Rules." Thomas Nelson, Inc.: Nashville, 2001.
Ever since the Garden of Eden, life has been full of trials, pain and suffering. A dark storm may be just around the corner. When we face difficulties, our first questions revolve around how to get out of this situation and why would this happen. The real question should be, "How can God be glorified in the situation I am facing?" Robert J. Morgan's book "The Red Sea Rules: The Same God Who Led You In Will Lead You Out" holds incredibly encouraging and challenging reminders of biblical truths. He presents ten "rules" when facing a Red Sea in our lives to gain a right perspective, to pray and to see God glorified in whatever difficulty we may encounter.
Morgan says, "So, take a deep breath and recall the deepest secret of the Christian life: When you are in a difficult place, realize that the Lord either placed you there or allowed you to be there, for reasons perhaps known for now only to Himself. The same God who led you in will lead you out."
