Happy Thanksgiving
At this special time of the year we are reminded of our many blessings. Some years ago I wrote this essay titled "In My World." As I compiled my list of all I was grateful for I realized I could go on and on. May God richly bless you and your family and may your world be filled with God's personal care. - Dr. Don Meyer, President

Homecoming 2012 Recap
From October 23 to October 27, VFCC welcomed back alumni for the annual homecoming week. In total, nearly 100 graduates returned to the VFCC campus - including 18 people from the class of 1962, who celebrated their 50-year reunion! Throughout the week, alumni joined in on the Homecoming fun. Returning graduates assembled worship teams to lead chapel and spoke in various services and ceremonies. 21 former athletes formed teams to challenge the current varsity sports teams in some friendly pick-up games. Furthermore, an a cappella quartet known as The Couriers returned to campus for an enthusiastic concert, and Pompton Lakes (a band comprised of VFCC alumni) held a CD release show in Krempels Theatre, as well as led a worship service for students. Clearly, graduates of years past were more than excited to celebrate homecoming at Valley Forge Christian College this year.

Men's Soccer Team Hosts Free Clinic
The VFCC men's soccer team spent Friday evening, October 26, 2012, hosting a free soccer clinic for the children in the Phoenixville area. During VFCC's Homecoming weekend, the Patriots welcomed 20 boys and girls onto the field to take part in the clinic. Students set up various stations around the field and led the children in different drills to help develop their skill. In drill stations, each child received instruction in dribbling, shooting, passing and juggling. After the skill development session, the children participated in a short scrimmage to practice what they had learned. The clinic provided a way for kids to come out, have fun and work on their soccer skills at absolutely no cost. The event also showed how Valley Forge Christian College and the athletic teams are eager to get involved in the community.

The Play, 'The Giver,' Performs at Krempels Theater
If you missed The Giver, then you missed an exemplary theatrical performance! In early November, Curtain Call - the student drama community at Valley Forge Christian College - staged an impressive adaptation of the award-winning book by Lois Lowry. To say that the talented cast executed the performance of this story well would be a gross understatement! So tremendous was the acting of these students that many audience members were brought to tears during the plot's climax on opening night.
