Rogers Library Reopens June 16 After Renovation
 
Hennepin County Library - Rogers, 21300 John Milless Dr., reopens

on Thursday, June 16 at noon, after an eight-week, $350,000 renovation.
 
Improvements include a slightly expanded children's area, a modified

service desk, all new furniture and more accessible power outlets for patrons.

The library's interior was repainted and refreshed, and parts of the staff

workroom were reconstructed.
 
Patrons who chose an alternate pickup location for their item requests

during the library closure will see their pickup location change back to

Rogers Library automatically.
 
Library hours remain the same: noon-8 p.m. Monday and Thursday;

9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday.
 
"This renovation is an important investment in Rogers Library," said

District 7 Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson. "It's one way we're

making sure the library will continue to serve the community and its residents

well into the future."
