This month we are proud and excited to introduce the brand new Marketing Academy! We've partnered with three experienced marketing professionals to create a four-course program that will focus on today's important marketing topics. We've once again offered both package and a la carte pricing, similar to our Business Institute.
We have moved into the planning stages for our spring events, including the Business & Community Excellence Awards in April and the First Responders Luncheon in May. Look for more from us very soon, including sponsorship information.
Reminder - please call to make an appointment before you stop by the office. We are often out in the community and don't want to miss you!

Tuesday, February 16, 2016 - 3 pm to 4:30 pm
Minnesota School of Business, Elk River Presented by Tim Stolz
Perhaps one of the biggest opportunities and challenges presented by the new economy is the relationship an organization has with its customers. New technologies have created new ways to communicate, partnerships between organizations are becoming more common, and retaining existing customers has become an integral strategy of many organizations. An organization has many "customers" (internal and external) it needs to consider. The key to developing an appropriate customer service strategy may depend on whether the organization maintains an "authentic" relationship with its customers versus a "transactional" one. This class is interactive, informative, and collaborative. You'll also have an opportunity to address a customer service challenge you are facing today in your own organization.
Presented by Henningson & Snoxell, Ltd.
Wednesday, February 17, 2016 - 8:30 am to 10 am Dehn's Country Manor, Dayton Breakfast is available for purchase; please arrive at 8:15 if you plan to order breakfast. FEBRUARY'S TOPIC: Impactful Personal Presentation in 150 Words or Less with Jackie Menne
FEBRUARY'S SPEAKER:
As CEO, Chief Empathy Officer of Joule Microbusiness Network, Jackie has made a career of both auditory and visual communication. Her path, however, was more of a maze than a ladder beginning in Cincinnati as a broadcast writer for radio and TV followed by marriage, Minneapolis and Musicland where she ran the Advertising Department when the national chain was a rockstar. She left before the dark days to work at bright ad agencies including Periscope on consumer goods and retail brands including Aveda, Target, Motorola, Medtronic, Arctic Cat, Mall of America, Treasure Island Casino and Lee Ann Chin before starting her own ad agency in 1998 followed by Joule in 2010.
