FROM THE CHAIR
|
|
 Dear Chamber Members,
Summer is nearly over and school has started for area students. It's been a great summer and we at the Chamber are looking forward to our fall events. As always, we hope to provide you with valuable programs and opportunities to connect.
In September, we have two unique opportunities for you.
On Wednesday, September 16, all members (men and women) are invited to attend Breakfast with Benefits presented by Hubbard Interactive, brought to you in connection with the Women's Leadership Forum. The topic of this informative presentation is "How to Use Social Media to Grow Your Business." We are thrilled to welcome Hubbard Interactive for this event. Consider attending if you are having trouble finding engaging content for your Facebook page, need help with Facebook advertising, or want help optimizing your social media channels to improve your Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Breakfast with Benefits will be held at Guardian Angels Engel Haus in Albertville on Wednesday, September 16 from 8:30 am to 10 am.
On September 22, we will hold the first course of the brand new Business Institute, 3-D Sales featuring Erik Therwanger, founder of Think GREAT. Therwanger uniquely combines leadership development, team building, sales training, and goal-setting into strategies and techniques that empower employees, sales teams, leaders, and business owners to exceed expectations. This seminar will be useful for all professionals, not only those in sales. In September, the Business Institute will be held at Cabela's in Rogers from 3 pm to 4:30 pm.
More details for both seminars can be found below.
We are also looking forward to the Annual Dinner & Silent Auction, to be held on Thursday, October 1 at 5 pm at the Crown Room at the Wellstead of Rogers. We are now accepting Silent Auction, Live Auction, and Raffle donations, and there are still a few sponsorship opportunities available. Please show your support of the Chamber and its programming by attending, sponsoring, or donating to this important event.
