Up to now, businesses were required to pay the sales tax and then file a refund request - a cumbersome process that created cash-flow problems. Effective July 1, 2015, the refund changed to an up-front sales-tax exemption.

The City of Rogers will have a public hearing on July 28th at 7 pm at the Rogers Community Room to discuss the PMP franchise fee.
The City of Rogers' Pavement Management Program (PMP) is designed to track the condition of City streets and to outline the costs associated with regular street maintenance projects including reconstructions, mill and overlay, concrete and storm sewer repairs, and utility relocation.

Kevin Lenz Named President of STMA Rotary Club for 2015-2016 ST. MICHAEL, Minn. (June 30, 2015) - STMA Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Kevin Lenz has been named club president for the 2015-2016 Rotary year. Lenz is a physical therapist/site coordinator for the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute-Albertville of Allina Health. He has been very active in STMA Rotary for several years, most recently serving as the club's community service chairman. Lenz has coordinated several major projects for the club including Beds for Kids, Students of the Month, and the club's Roadside Cleanup/Community Service Days. In 2013, Rotary District 5960 recognized STMA Rotary and Lenz with an Award of Excellence in Community Service. "I have huge plans for our club this year," Lenz said. "Last year our club met every single one of its goals so this year we are going to up the ante. My main goals are to increase awareness of our club's many contributions to the community, and to get more people involved in our club so they can 'Be a Gift to the World,' which is Rotary's theme for this year." Lenz succeeds Sandy Greninger, who served as president in 2014-2015. The St. Michael-Albertville Rotary Club meets at 7:30 a.m. Tuesdays in the Crow River Senior Center at the St. Michael City Center.
