FROM THE CHAIR
|
|
Dear Chamber Members, As we move into spring, we at the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce are looking forward to two of our most highly-anticipated events of the year, the Business & Community Excellence Awards and the First Responders Luncheon. The Business & Community Excellence Awards is scheduled for this Thursday, April 9, at 8 am at the Crown Room at the Wellstead of Rogers. All award recipients were nominated by fellow members of the Chamber and are highly deserving of the recognition. This year's winners will be announced at the breakfast ceremony, so if you haven't already registered, please call the Chamber office today to see about attending. We thank everyone who has been involved in the Awards, from our vendors and sponsors to those members who submitted nominations. Planning and preparation for the Second Annual First Responders Luncheon has been underway for several weeks. Last year's inaugural event was so well-attended, we needed to secure a larger venue. We will honor our region's local heroes on Wednesday, May 13 at 11:30 am with a luncheon at the Medina Entertainment Center. We are honored to once again welcome Mona Dohman, Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Public Safety, as well as other special guests. It has recently been confirmed that Miss Minnesota, Savannah Cole, will sing the National Anthem. Watch for a dedicated email later this week for more information on how to attend or become involved with the Second Annual First Responders Luncheon. Your involvement in this event illustrates not only your support for the I-94 West Chamber and its mission, but your support of the citizens and first responders who work hard to keep our region safe, as well. As always, we look forward to seeing you soon, and invite you to contact the Chamber office at any time to share your needs, concerns, and suggestions.
