2012 Preview - Wait 'til Next Year?
Trust you've enjoyed the holidays, maybe thought about the year past, and started thinking about the year we just started. Some things to consider in 2013:
- The usual activist investors (Icahn, Ackman, Peltz) pursuing the usual big companies (Netflix, P&G, Danone)
- Some new activist investors to watch
- A wait until 2014 for significant regulatory moves from the SEC
- Renewed urgency to vote on 2013 shareholder proposals.
