The rumors are correct; there are changes coming to 4 D Acres emu farm. The first change is 4 D Acres will no longer be on the Miami County Spring or Fall Farm Tours. Mike was the one who went to the county and proposed the idea of having people come out to the country and see how farmers were making a living on small acreage. They liked the idea and with hard work from the county, Mike and Leland Prothe the Miami County Farm Tour was launched the weekend of May 22 & 23, 2004 with eleven stops.
The other news we have for you is 4 D Acres will no longer be raising emus. After enjoying the big birds for about eighteen years Mike and I have decided to step out of the farming side of the business. This time next year the last of the birds will be old enough to be processed then we will be totally out of emus.
But, the best news we have saved for last. We are going to continue selling emu oil and emu oil products, along with our free range chickens. So, don't worry about not being able to get your emu oil from us, we are just a phone call or a computer click away from you.

ULTRAtm Clear Emu Oil
What is ULTRA Emu Oil?
ULTRA emu oil is the same as our regular emu oil except that during the refining process this oil has had some anti-inflammatory inhibitors removed thus making this oil 45% more effective than unrefined emu oil.
What is Clear Emu OIL?
4 D Acres Pure Emu Oil is a creamy white oil which melts into the skin more slowly due to the fact that the creamy white are oil solids which melt at skin temperature. Thus removing these creamy white solids allows for a clear oil which is absorbed into the skin much faster thus going to work faster and giving releif faster.
Why have ULTRA Clear Emu Oil?
Since we always want faster relief when in pain by having the ULTRA in a clear version we achieve that. If you want the other properties of the emu oil, such as a facial moisturizer, the clear oil will absorb faster thus allowing makeup to be applied shortly after the oil application.
