From 30 September through 20 November students may bring coins, dollars or checks.  Teachers will collect the money in their rooms.  During the month of November, in the spirit of sports competition, there will be a "Clemson" jar, a "Carolina" jar and an "Other Teams" jar on Mrs. Ackermann's desk outside the office to which anyone may contribute.  This money will go towards the school goal and will be divided evenly for classes to share in when shopping for the toys.  Checks should be made out to CCPS with "Toys for Tots" written in the memo area.  

 

Lower school will compete as classes, and upper school will compete as advisement classes.  Our incentives are going to work a little differently this year.  For the week of 30 September through 4 October, the class that raises the most money will receive a pizza party.  By 25 October, the class from lower school and the class from upper school that have raised the most money will receive a Coastal Day.  The school will work together to earn the remaining incentives:  

  $1,000 - Ice Cream for everyone

                                $3,000 - 3 Coastal Days

                                $5,000 - Movie and Popcorn Day

                                $8,000 - Coastal Days every Friday

 

After 20 November, the classes will shop for gifts and our students will present the gifts to the Marines at our heart-warming Toys for Tots chapel on 2 December at 8:30 am.  You are invited to join us for this special time.  Make sure to follow our progress on the thermometer that will be by the car drop-off/pick-up lane.  Thank you in advance for your support of this program.
