Dear CCPS Parents:

We have had another exciting week at CCPS.  Our students have been busy with many activities in and out of the classroom. 

A special thanks to our 140+ Grandparents that visited with us Friday, September 6th.  Our K3-5th grade students did an awesome job honoring their grandparents with songs, poems, and readings.
 

Now it is time to honor our Dad's in grades K3-K5!  "Donuts for Dads" will be Friday, September 20th, in our preschool from 8-8:30am.
 

Please remember to mark your calendar for See You at the Pole on Wednesday, September 25th, at 8am.  Join us as we gather in our courtyard for music and prayer. Hope to see you there!
 

Are you collecting "Box Tops for Education"?  Pick up your red cup in the school foyer and start collecting for us today!  It's a very easy way to earn rewards for our school.  You can also earn e-box tops for the school by shopping through their online marketplace, which can be accessed through their website, www.boxtops4education.com.  We have already raised over $600 for our school, and we hope to earn much more with your help.  If you have any questions, please contact Charles Stayer at charlesstayer@coastalchristian.org.  Thanks for helping our school!  

Our school photographer has been very busy this week taking athletic pictures, individual pictures, and class pictures!  If your child was absent, picture make-up day will be September 17th.  Student athletes, please remember to check your pictures on http://deeteam.zenfolio.com,  password:  goCougars.  The sale price for athletic pictures ends Monday, September 16th.  (Individual and class pictures will be added to this website soon.)  

It's hard to believe that a 10th of the school year has already passed!  I need your help with a few items:

In the morning, please plan to drop your children off in the gym or in the pickup line and not walk them to their classroom for grades 1st-12th.   The teachers start class promptly at 8am and need this time to welcome the children and help them begin their day.  In order for our morning to begin smoothly, we ask that parents not accompany their children to the classrooms.  Should you need to get a message to your child's teacher please feel free to email him or her, or leave a note with Heather at the front desk.  Thanks so much for your help.

For your child's safety, we ask all parents to come through our pickup line in the afternoon.  Please do not ask your child to meet you across the street or in the back parking lot.  We want to be sure that all our students are getting home safe every afternoon.
