A note from our hosting church...

We are grateful to First Baptist Church and their sister church, LifePark, for the use of their facilities and all the support they give to our school.  Please see their letter below for each of our school families.

Sincerely,
Joe Hulsey, Headmaster

Dear CCPS Families,

It was great to see so many parents and students of Coastal Christian at Family Night on the 13th!  It is a blessing for our church staff to be able to be a part of what the Lord is doing at CCPS.

I wanted to take a moment to say "thanks": thank you for entrusting us with your children, thank you for making this big building come alive again during the week (it's so quiet during the summer!), and thank you for partnering with our school staff to make a difference in the lives of our young people and our community.

I hope that you and your students are settling into a rhythm now that the first full week of school is behind us... I know that the pace of work, school, homework, extracurricular activities, and all of the other time-consuming factors of family life can be incredibly draining if we aren't intentionally taking time to rest and refuel.

One of the blessings of having a church/school partnership is that we are able to minister to families in multiple spheres of life.  We are blessed to live in a community with a number of outstanding churches that are focused on spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that love and serve their members well.  If your family regularly attends another church in the community then we celebrate that and encourage you to stay active in worship, Bible study, and service opportunities there!

If however, you are not already part of a church family then we'd love to invite you to join us and be a part of what the Lord is doing here.  We have two services on Sunday mornings - a 9:30 service in our gym (it looks different on Sunday mornings than it does during school hours!) that is more contemporary in feel and music style, and an 11:00 service in our sanctuary that is more traditional.  We'd love to see you on Sundays and get to know you better! Also, if there is any way we can minister to your family, please let us know so we can come alongside you and support or encourage you as needed.

Again, thanks for being a part of our school - we're praying for you and your students!

Blessings,

Chip Robinson
