Message from the President: Regionalism Essential to Economic Development
As part of the Chamber's strategic plan to recruit and sustain business, we are strongly focusing on the concept of "regionalism." The Macon and Warner Robins chambers have agreed to work more closely on issues of regional importance such as education, workforce development, legislative agendas, and economic development.
These are issues that are important to both Chambers in continuing the growth and development of the Middle Georgia region. Our Chambers have also agreed to co-host a few "regional" events every year.
In conjunction with this partnership, we will be hosting a joint Business After Hours on Thursday, August 14, from 5:30-7:00 PM, at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport. This event will be sponsored by Cox Business and will highlight and promote the wonderful economic opportunities that the airport offers to our region.
