Order Food for Passover
Having trouble finding prepared kosher food? Need some delicious kosher-for-Passover food but don't have the time to cook? J and M Caterers, our in-house caterers, has just what you need! Check out their website for a special kosher-for-Passover order form, prepared at Adath Shalom and supervised by Rabbi Moshe Rudin. Plus they have a great everyday take-out menu for those busy weekdays!

Sell Your Chametz for Passover
Do you have a large amount of Chametz (leaven food, such as bread, cereal, pasta, etc.) that you would like to have back after Passover? Your rabbi can sell your Chametz to a non-Jew on the morning before Passover, and buy it back for you after Passover.

If you do not have access to a rabbi, please feel free to sell your Chametz through Rabbi Rudin, one of our teachers here at GRTWA. To do so, click on this Sale of Chametz link for the form and instructions for performing this Mitzvah, and be sure to return the form along with your Tzedakah no later than Wednesday, April 20.
Register for Spring Enrichment Classes
Enrollment for spring after school enrichment classes is now open. Classes include soccer, golf, flag football, chess and more! Classes begin May 4, so enroll your child today!

May Lunch Ordering Open
Lunch ordering for May is open on MyFoodDays, and ends at midnight on April 25. Please make sure you receive an emailed receipt. If you do not receive an email confirmation, that means your order did not go through and will be cancelled, no exceptions. Please place your lunch order early to avoid any potential issues.
Tuition Assistance & Base Grant Applications
If you plan on applying for tuition assistance or base grant, please submit your application as soon as possible. If you submitted your application but still need to complete any other paperwork, please do so as soon as possible.The first round of applications have already been considered, so please submit your applications and paperwork right away.
Matzah Donations & Seder Volunteers Needed
Passover is just around the corner! If you have extra matzah you'd like to donate, please drop off your matzah by Thursday, April 14.

We are also in need of volunteers for the K-8 seder being held on Monday, April 18. To volunteer, please contact Ellen Ezra at

Grandparents & Special Friends Seders
Please invite your parents and special friends to share the journey with your children through the story of Pesach... L'dor V'dor
  • April 18, 10:00 am: Kindergarten - 8th grade
  • April 19, 10:00 am: ECC Seder
Please RSVP for your child by April 7th. Email grandparents@grtwacademy.org with:
  • Grandparents'/special friends' names and email addresses
  • # of guests attending (limited to 3 guests per family)
*If your child does not have a grandparent or special friend, the school will place your child with a family in his/her grade.

Summer Theatre Workshop 
This two week theater program is open to current 4th-8th graders (5th-9th grade in September) and will run from 9:30 until 5pm, Monday through Friday, culminating with a performances on Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26. New this year is a Junior Program open to current Junior Kindergarten through 3rd graders and will be held during the second week of camp, August 22-26!

The cost for the program will be $600 for the two week period and $325 for the Junior Program, both of which include a t-shirt and daily snacks.

8th Grade Fundraisers
  • Clothing Donation Bin: the Big Brothers/Big Sisters clothing bin is in the back of the parking lot. Donate clothing, coats and shoes and help raise money for 8th grade! Click here for more information
  • Virtual Garage Sale: Participate in the first annual 8th Grade Class Virtual Garage Sale! We sell your unwanted items on eBay and Craigslist. Click here for more information.
Box Tops
Please submit your box tops to the office. This is a continuous program which helps raise money for the school throughout the year.
Young Women's Mission to Israel
The Federation of Greater Metrowest is having a Young Women's Mission to Israel July 4 - 12. A unique Israel experience only Federation can provide,highlights include (itinerary in formation); bond with wonderful women from our community, participate in hands-on activities, usher in Shabbat at the Western Wall, meet Israeli women who are making a difference, and visit our Partnership2Gether communities.
