New ECC Lunch Pricing with December Lunch Orders

Lunch ordering for December will open on Monday, November 2. Beginning with the December lunch orders, ECC parents can order their children lunch at a reduced rate, for smaller lunch orders. Soup is available for $1.50, and for $2.50 you can order them just the entree (no sides, salad, etc.).

Rabin Ceremony November 4
Wednesday, Nov 4, the 6th grade will lead a memorial service for Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, with grades 3 - 8.  Parents are encouraged to join us in the Sanctuary for the ceremony, at 9:00 am
Activities Available for November 6
As there are no classes being held on November 6, your kids can participate in various activities being held that day:
  • Day School Day On: Join us at this community-wide volunteer opportunity. Come together with other Day School families to engage in service projects benefiting our community. There will be bus service between GRTWA and JCC Metrowest. Click here for more information. To register, please click here.
  • Bulldogs Soccer Academy: Soccer is available for only $75, and will run from 9am - 3pm at GRTWA. This is open to students and their friends. Receive a 10% discount per friend that is booked.  Also receive a 10% discount when you like and share the Bulldogs Soccer Academy Facebook page. Click here for information and registration.
Lost & Found
There are a large number of unclaimed items in the lost and found, located in the main office.  Please stop by the office to claim any lost items.
Vendor Fair - November 8
Join us on Sunday, November 8, 1:00 pm for our vendor fair/boutique.  Shop fabulous vendors, with tricky tray and complimentary desserts. We are also offering free babysitting.  For more information, please click here.
NJ Symphony Orchestra December 3
Join us on December 3 at 10:00 am for a "mini" concert featuring GRTWA students, followed by a full concert from NJ Symphony Orchestra with their full 60-piece orchestra! Click here for more information.
KidStuff Coupon Books
Just a friendly reminder to send in payment of $25 for your KidStuff Book. Use just a few coupons to save more than the cost of the book. Keep the book in your car! You will enjoy savings from Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Payless, Loft, Aéropostale, Sears, Dick's Sporting Goods, and many more. If you are unable to participate in this fundraiser, simply return the KidStuff book to Donna or Michele at the reception desk. This is a great fundraiser for our school and your family will save lots of money!
8th Grade Fundraisers
  • Chanukah Shopping Spree: This year's sale will take place on Dec. 2. Collection begins on Monday, Oct. 26. Click here for more information.
  • Clothing Donation Bin: the Big Brothers/Big Sisters clothing bin is back again. Donate clothing, coats and shoes and help raise money for 8th grade! Click here for more information. 
  • Personalized Artwork: Watch for your packet containing an order form for Silvergraphics to order various items containing your child's personalized artwork
Mitzvah Projects
Matan Frankl will be collecting coats and jackets for the charity, One Warm Coat. He is holding a One Warm Coat Drive throughout the month of November. Stop by with your gently worn coats and help him #warmamillion.

Please donate clean and gently used coats and jackets by putting them in the red bin inside the front doors of the school.  He will be delivering and distributing the coats at the George Washington Carver School in East Orange, NJ (a non-profit partner/agency of One Warm Coat) . Thank you! #igavewarmth.
Box Tops
Please submit your box tops to the office. This is a continuous program which helps raise money for the school throughout the year.
