PURIM INCLEMENT WEATHER

CONTINGENCY PLAN

With the possibility of inclement weather for tomorrow, Thursday, we have made some contingency plans for the Purim carnival. Click here for more information and details.

REMINDER: THERE WILL BE NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE ON MARCH 5. IF YOUR CHILD NORMALLY STAYS ON THURSDAYS FOR AFTER SCHOOL CARE, PLEASE MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS.

HOW TO APPLY FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE

OR THE BASE GRANT

If you are applying for the Base Grant, you need to send us the Base Grant application, your most recent 1040 (preferably 2014), and a letter of explanation if you want.
If you are applying for Tuition Assistance, you need to complete the SSS online application and submit to us your most recent 1040 (preferably 2014), and a letter of explanation if you want.
If you are asking for an exception to the Base Grant (i.e. you earn more than $200K or you are requesting a different cap than your category, you must to send us the Base Grant application, your most recent 1040 (preferably 2014), and a letter of explanation AND submit the online SSS application.

If you are intending to apply for either assistance program for next year, please submit your application as soon as possible. The earlier you submit, the earlier you will hear and the best chance you have of getting what you need.

2015-16 CALENDAR NOW AVAILABLE

A preliminary calendar for the 2015-2016 school year is now available on the school website. To view the calendar, please go to the School Life menu on the Home page, and select 2015-16 Calendar.

APRIL LUNCH ORDERS NOW OPEN

Ordering for April lunches is now open. Please make sure you receive an emailed receipt. If you do not receive a receipt, your order did not go through and it will be cancelled, no exceptions. Please place your order early in case you have any issues.

**Please note, the Banana Bread 8th grade fundraiser ends this month. Banana bread will no longer be available to order with your April - June lunch orders.

BOOK FAIR MARCH 11 - 13

Our annual book fair will be held Wednesday - Friday, March 11 - 13. We will have many books to choose from and purchase, so please remember to send book money with your children.

MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE (GR 5 - 8) MARCH 8

The Middle School Dance will be held on March 8, 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Powerhouse Studios.Tickets are $13. Click here for more information.

MATZAH DONATIONS &

K-8 SEDER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Passover is just around the corner! If you have extra matzah you'd like to donate, please drop off your matzah by Thursday, March 26.

We are also in need of volunteers for the K-8 seder being held on Monday, March 30. To volunteer, please contact Ellen Ezra at ellengayler@yahoo.com.

SUMMER THEATRE WORKSHOP

This two week theater program is open to current 4th-8th graders (5th-9th grade in September) and will run from 9:30 until 5pm, Monday through Friday, culminating with a performance on Friday, August 28 at 3:00pm for family and friends. The cost for the program will be $600 for the two week period which includes a t-shirt and daily snacks. Since space is limited, we encourage enrollment as soon as possible. CANDY LAND COUTURE KIDS FASHION SHOW

RSVP for the Candy Land Couture Kids Fashion Show, being held on March 15, 2:00 - 5:00 pm. This event includes music, vendors, face painting, balloon sculpting, tricky tray and a candy bar/desserts! Click here for more information.

8TH GRADE ISRAEL TRIP FUNDRAISERS

Garage Sale this Sunday! Join us this Sunday, March 8, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm for our garage sale. Items include toys, books, handbags, housewares and much more!

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Please continue to submit your box tops to the office. This is a continuous program which helps raise money for the school throughout the year.

Mazel tov to staff member Matt Baran and his wife Christine on the birth of their baby girl, Clara Beatrix Baran, born at 6:56pm on March 2nd. Mom and baby are doing great!

COMMUNITY SUPERMARKET SWEEP - MARCH 8

Be part of this community-wide mitzvah project to restock our local kosher food pantries and assist clients of Jewish Family Service of Central NJ and Jewish Family Service of MetroWest for the Passover holiday. Click here for more information.
