A SPECIAL PURIM MESSAGE

As a reminder, we will hold a festive Purim carnival for the children on Purim, March 5. We ask that they come dressed in costume in the spirit of the festival, bring Mishloach Manot, and make a personal donation. The school day will end at 12:00 (11:45 for ECC) and there will be no after school care. Click here for more information and details.

AS NOTED ABOVE, THERE WILL BE NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE ON MARCH 5. IF YOUR CHILD NORMALLY STAYS ON THURSDAYS FOR AFTER SCHOOL CARE, PLEASE MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS.

APRIL LUNCH ORDERS OPENS SUNDAY

Ordering for April lunches will open this Sunday, March 1. Please make sure you receive an emailed receipt. If you do not receive a receipt, your order did not go through and it will be cancelled, no exceptions. Please place your order early in case you have any issues.

**Please note, Breakfast for Lunch (BFL) ends this month; beginning in April, please make sure your child brings lunch every Friday. In addition, the Banana Bread 8th grade fundraiser also ends this month. Banana bread will no longer be available to order with your April - June lunch orders.

MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE (GR 5 - 8) MARCH 8

The Middle School Dance will be held on March 8, 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Powerhouse Studios.Tickets are $10 before February 27 and $13 after. Tickets must be purchased PRIOR to the dance. Click here for more information.

MATZAH DONATIONS &

K-8 SEDER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Passover is just around the corner! If you have extra matzah you'd like to donate, please drop off your matzah by Thursday, March 26.

We are also in need of volunteers for the K-8 seder being held on Monday, March 30. To volunteer, please contact Ellen Ezra at ellengayler@yahoo.com.

SUMMER THEATRE WORKSHOP

This two week theater program is open to current 4th-8th graders (5th-9th grade in September) and will run from 9:30 until 5pm, Monday through Friday, culminating with a performance on Friday, August 28 at 3:00pm for family and friends. The cost for the program will be $600 for the two week period which includes a t-shirt and daily snacks. Since space is limited, we encourage enrollment as soon as possible. Emails have been sent containing ordering information for Purim baskets on HappyPurim.com. As a reminder, Purim baskets must be ordered by midnight on Thursday, February 26. If you have any questions please contact Stacey Rubinfeld or Fawn Zwickel at pa.hamc@yahoo.com.

CANDY LAND COUTURE KIDS FASHION SHOW

RSVP for the Candy Land Couture Kids Fashion Show, being held on March 15, 2:00 - 5:00 pm. This event includes music, vendors, face painting, balloon sculpting, tricky tray and a candy bar/desserts! Click here for more information.

8TH GRADE ISRAEL TRIP FUNDRAISERS

Garage Sale - Accepting Donations for our garage sale in March!! Please spread the word - this is a great fundraiser for us, but we cannot do it without your donations! Past experience with this sale has taught us what sells and what does not. We need ladies handbags, costume jewelry, children's athletic equipment in good condition (lacrosse sticks, ice skates, baseball gloves etc) DVDs, electronic equipment - NO stuffed animals, golf clubs, VCRS, or tube TVs. Collection bin is located by Moreh Moshe's office. Thanks for your support!!
Babysitting Services: For just $10/hour, an 8th grader will come to your house and babysit your children. For more information and to sign up, click here.

Ariel's After School Cooking Classes for K-8: Support the 8th grade Israel trip and have fun in the kitchen, $30.00 per class! BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Please continue to submit your box tops to the office. This is a continuous program which helps raise money for the school throughout the year.
