SCHOOL SAFETY

Please remember to use the front door during school hours, For security purposes, do not knock or ring bells for the back or side doors. This also disturbs classes that are in session, so your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

SCHOOL ITEMS LIQUIDATION SALE

 

As we get ready to open the new building for the 2015-2016 school year, we will be liquidating various audio/video equipment, gym equipment, office furniture and other items. Please contact the office if you are interested in purchasing any items, or know anyone that would be interested in providing liquidation services.

 

Click here for a catalog of items. Not all office furniture is pictured in the catalog, however all are available for purchase. Items will not be available for pickup until the end of June.

EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS FEBRUARY 13

 

Registration for the 2015-2016 school year is now open. The online registration must be completed and submitted AND all of the additional required forms must be submitted to the school office by Friday, February 13 in order to receive the early registration credit, no exceptions (including weather)! We suggest, therefore, you do not leave this until the last minute. Because we need original signatures, please do not fax or email your forms.

8TH GRADE ISRAEL TRIP FUNDRAISERS

  • Garage Sale - Now Accepting Donations for our garage sale in March!! Please spread the word - this is a great fundraiser for us, but we cannot do it without your donations! Past experience with this sale has taught us what sells and what does not. We need ladies handbags, costume jewelry, children's athletic equipment in good condition (lacrosse sticks, ice skates, baseball gloves etc) DVDs, electronic equipment - NO stuffed animals, golf clubs, VCRS, or tube TVs. Collection bin is located by Moreh Moshe's office. Thanks for your support!! 
  • Babysitting Services: For just $10/hour, an 8th grader will come to your house and babysit your children. For more information and to sign up, click here.
  • Banana Bread Fundraiser: Banana bread is available for purchase on MyFoodDays at a cost of $10 for two loaves. Bread will be baked fresh at GRTWA and sent home with your child on Thursdays. Click here for more information.
  • 10-12 inch Flower Arrangement for $25: Available for Shabbat or Holidays. To order, please contact Regina Shtirmer at (973) 610-8292. 

  • Ariel's After School Cooking Classes for K-8: Support the 8th grade Israel trip and have fun in the kitchen, $30.00 per class or $125 for all 5! Learn to make homemade preserves and muffins, real NY style boiled bagels, latkas and applesauce and more! Click here for details. Class size is limited to 12 students per class.   • Vendor Discount Cards (2014-15): $15 each - in the GRTWA main office.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

 

Please continue to submit your box tops to the office.  This is a continuous program which helps raise money for the school throughout the year.

ANTISEMITISM EVENT - JANUARY 22

 

Join guest speaker Mark Weitzman, Director of Government Affairs of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for a discussion on antisemitism around the world. Additional guest speakers include Barbara Wind, Director of the Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest and Melanie Gorelick, Director of the Community Relations Committee of Greater MetroWest. This event will be held at the Morristown Jewish Center on Thursday, January 22 at 7:30 pm.  For more information, click here.

COMMON GROUND SPEAKS WINTER EVENT

 

The winter event will held on February 25 at Chatham Day School with guest speakers Alison Cohen, MST, and Dr. Michael M. Osit. The topic will be Dont Worry, Be Happy: Achieving Balance for Ourselves, Our Children, and Our Families In An Increasingly Stressful World . For more information, click here.
