TERRA NOVA TESTING, MAY 19-22

The Terra Nova test will be administered to all students in 2nd through 8th grades, on Monday, May 19 through Thursday, May 22.  Testing will occur each day between 9:30 - 11:00 AM. To help ensure successful testing:

  • Please make sure that the students arrive at school on time.
  • Please do not make appointments that will take them out of school before 11:30 am.
  • You can best prepare your children for this testing by insuring that they have a good breakfast each morning and that they are well rested.
  • Please indicate to your children that these tests will, in no way, affect their grade in any class nor determine promotion to the next grade.  We do not want the children to be overly anxious about the testing.

MITZVAH PROJECTS

Coby Schneider is having a supply drive for the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. Please drop off supplies in the box located in the lobby.  Some of the supplies needed include paper towels, unscented bleach, dog waste bags, non-clumping clay cat litter, cat toys, liquid laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, Brillo pads, 40-gallon garbage bags, tall kitchen garbage bags, liquid Dawn dish washing detergent, kitten food and puppy food.

Daniel Shtirmer is holding an arts and crafts donation drive to benefit the Goryeb Children's Hospital. There are two boxes by the front door for 1st-8th graders to donate arts and crafts supplies. Please note your child's grade with a Sharpie on a sticker for all donated items, because the class that brings in the most items will be treated to an ice cream social by the Shtirmer family.

Ben Pincus is raising money for Friends of The IDF Spirit Program  which provides combat soldiers with FIDF recreation facilities in Israel. Purchase an FIDF bracelet for $2.00 or make a donation online at www.fidf.org. Please include a note with your online donation that it's in support of Ben's project. Thank you!
