IMPORTANT NOTE ON BREAKFAST FOR LUNCH 

 

As a reminder, Breakfast for Lunch has already been ordered for March through myFoodDays. Since all ordering for March has already been completed and paid in advance, money will no longer be accepted on Fridays for Breakfast for Lunch.

APRIL LUNCH ORDERS NOW OPEN

 

MyFoodDays for April is now open, and closes at midnight on Thursday, March 20. Remember, if you don't get an emailed receipt, your payment did not go through! Orders not placed AND paid for by closing time will be canceled without notice!

PLEASE CLAIM YOUR LOST & FOUND ITEMS

 

Our Lost & Found bin is overflowing with many unclaimed items. Your assistance in helping to clear out these items is greatly appreciated. Please come and claim any lost items at the Lost & Found bin, located in the back of the gym.

Please note, any items that remain unclaimed by Thursday, April 10, will be donated to charity.

MEGILLAH READING

We are having a full Megillah reading on Sunday, March 16 from 10:00 - 11:00am in the HAMC gym. Everyone is invited to join us, we hope to see you there!

PURIM BASKETS

Emails have been sent from Happy Purim, to send our fabulous Purim baskets to HAMC families, staff and/or board members! As a reminder, Purim baskets must be ordered by midnight on Monday, March 10.  If you have any questions please contact Alison Weinstock or Sheryl Raport at pa.hamc@yahoo.com.

 

If you are able to help pack the Purim baskets on Thursday, March 13, please RSVP to Alison or Sheryl at pa.hamc@yahoo.com.  Baskets will be prepared starting at 11:00am and continue throughout the day, please come for as long or as little as you can!

HAMC STUDENTS MAKE US PROUD
   
HAMC students make us proud, and we want to show them off!  When your child completes a mitzvah, does a good deed, or accomplishes something important, please let us know. We want to highlight them.

 

Email ssmitte@hamc.org with your child's name, grade, and a sentence on what they did to have them featured on our HAMC Pride Bulletin Board. 

 

8TH GRADE ISRAEL TRIP FUNDRAISERS

 

  • Breakfast for Lunch on Friday, March 7: French toast, with fruit and drink. As a reminder, Breakfast for Lunch is now only available to purchase through myFoodDays.
  • Walk to Israel Walk-A-Thon: Come help us fund raise for our Israel trip on Sunday March 9, 3:30 - 5:00 pm. The walk-a-thon will be held at Shongum Lake, and will begin in the Shongum Lake parking lot. Enlist sponsors to sponsor you per kilometer (approximately 5 kilometers per lap around the lake) or at a flat rate. Please register with Allie Ramsfelder by March 4, at littleramsy@gmail.com.   • HAMC Garage Sale for Israel Trip: Community-wide merchandise drop off for the Garage Sale. Drop-off goods Sunday March 9, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at J&S Outlet, 52 Horsehill Road, Cedar Knolls.   • eBay FundraiserGot Junk?  Our eighth graders would like to help you get rid of it!  They'll take anything, ranging from old cell phones to toys and sell it on eBay.  For more information, please contact Sam Russo at srusso224@gmail.com.

MITZVAH PROJECTS

 

Daniel Shtirmer is holding an arts and crafts donation drive to benefit the Goryeb Children's Hospital. There are two boxes by the front door for 1st-8th graders to donate arts and crafts supplies. Please note your child's grade with a Sharpie on a sticker for all donated items, because the class that brings in the most items will be treated to an ice cream social by the Shtirmer family.

Ben Pincus is raising money for Friends of The IDF Spirit Program  which provides combat soldiers with FIDF recreation facilities in Israel. Purchase an FIDF bracelet for $2.00 or make a donation online at www.fidf.org. Please include a note with your online donation that it's in support of Ben's project. Thank you!
