EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ENDS THIS FRIDAY

Registration forms and fees must be postmarked by February 14th or submitted to the office by February 14th at 2:00 PM to receive an early bird credit towards tuition, no exceptions to the deadline.

AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK ROOM

Please note that after school homework room ends promptly at 4:15, and parents are asked to pick up their children by then.

Parents with children in both homework room and an enrichment class are asked to retrieve their children from homework room at 4:15 and wait with them until 4:30 for the sibling to be dismissed. A child in homework room will not be able to go to aftercare for the 15 minutes if they have a sibling in an enrichment class that ends at 4:30.

For the safety of all of our children, we ask that you follow these procedures. Thanks for your cooperation.

PLEASE CLAIM YOUR LOST & FOUND ITEMS

Our Lost & Found bin is overflowing with many unclaimed items. Your assistance in helping to clear out these items is greatly appreciated. Please come and claim any lost items at the Lost & Found bin, located in the back of the gym.

PRELIMINARY CALENDAR AVAILABLE

The preliminary calendar for 2014-15 is now available on the HAMC website. Go to the Calendar link under School Life on the main page and click on the link for the preliminary calendar. Remember, these dates can change.

GROUNDBREAKING EVENT

Save the Date! The groundbreaking of our new building is Sunday, March 2nd at 12 PM.

Invitations have been sent! The students will be singing as part of the program, and we encourage all families to attend.

HAMC STUDENTS MAKE US PROUD

HAMC students make us proud, and we want to show them off! When your child completes a mitzvah, does a good deed, or accomplishes something important, please let us know. We want to highlight them.

Email ssmitte@hamc.org with your child's name, grade, and a sentence on what they did to have them featured on our HAMC Pride Bulletin Board.

8TH GRADE ISRAEL TRIP FUNDRAISERS

Breakfast for Lunch on Friday, February 14: Pancakes (plain or chocolate chip) with fruit and drink - $5 per serving
Walk to Israel Walk-A-Thon: Come help us fund raise for our Israel trip on Sunday March 9th, 3:30 - 5:00 pm. The walk-a-thon will be held at Shongum Lake, and will begin in the Shongum Lake parking lot. Enlist sponsors to sponsor you per kilometer (approximately 5 kilometers per lap around the lake) or at a flat rate. Please register with Allie Ramsfelder by March 4th, at littleramsy@gmail.com. HAMC Garage Sale for Israel Trip: Community-wide merchandise drop off for the Garage Sale. Drop-off goods Sunday March 9th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at J&S Outlet, 52 Horsehill Road, Cedar Knolls. Purim Play Boosters for Sale:Support the 8th grade Israel trip by taking out a Booster or Ad in the program for the 8th grade Purim Play. The price for a half-page ad is $20 and a full-page is $40. MITZVAH PROJECTS

Daniel Shtirmer is holding an arts and crafts donation drive to benefit the Goryeb Children's Hospital. There are two boxes by the front door for 1st-8th graders to donate arts and crafts supplies. Please note your child's grade with a Sharpie on a sticker for all donated items, because the class that brings in the most items will be treated to an ice cream social by the Shtirmer family.

Ben Pincus is raising money for Friends of The IDF Spirit Program which provides combat soldiers with FIDF recreation facilities in Israel. Purchase an FIDF bracelet for $2.00 or make a donation online at www.fidf.org. Please include a note with your online donation that it's in support of Ben's project. Thank you!

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION

Please continue to send in your Boxtops. Please submit boxtops to the office by February 14th so we can get our first reimbursement of the year.

HOLOCAUST EXHIBIT

The Holocaust Council of Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest presents From Memory to History: Faces and Voices of the Holocaust, an exhibit focusing on "Unsung Heroes." The exhibit will run February 11 - April 30 at the Alex Aidekman Family Jewish Community Campus, located at 901 Rt. 10 in Whippany. This exhibit is free and open to the public Monday - Friday during business hours. For more information, call (973) 929-3194 or email holocaustcouncil@jfedgmw.org.
