CALENDAR CHANGES

 
  • On Friday, December 6 the ECC will be in session as usual.  K-8 will still be closed.  
     
  • The end of the first marking period has been changed from December 13th to December 11th.

EVACUATION DRILL  

 

We are planning to conduct an Off-Site Evacuation Drill this Friday, October 18th.  For this first drill we will be walking the students to the bottom of the driveway and back.  If you are in the building during the drill, please cooperate with the HAMC staff and follow their instructions.

SCHOOL LUNCH   

Orders and payments for November lunches are due by midnight, Sunday, October 20th.

There was a mistake on the picture day cover letter. Number 6 is incorrect.  

You can purchase the class picture separately if you do not want to buy a package.  It is listed in the add ons/sheets.

ThanksGIVEing Event - Friday, November 22nd - free and open to middle school students -  HAMC will be collecting travel size toiletries.  Drop donations off in the main foyer between November 4th and November 22nd.

SECRET TO SAYING "NO"    

 

On Oct 22nd at 9-10:30am former HAMC parent Laurie Leinwand will make a presentation entitled  "The Secrets to Saying NO: Learn How to Set Healthy Boundaries" at the HAMC. All are welcome.

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION  

 

Please save and send your Boxtops into the office by Friday, October 18th.  Please continue to send them in throughout the school year. Easy fundraiser!

MITZVAH PROJECTS   

 

  • Please support Gabriella Neibart in her Bat Mitzvah project by donating NEW TOYS for Chanukah for Rachel Coalition.  Please leave your donations in the box located in the HAMC lobby or in the Morristown Jewish Center Office.

  • HAMC is now a member of Common Ground Speaks, a local coalition of Parent Associations from nine independent schools. Common Ground Speaks sponsors a free annual lecture series featuring distinguished speakers on the topics of child development, parenting, and education.
