HOSHANAH RABBAH CELEBRATION   

 

Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25th we will celebrate the end of Sukkot.  Please send your children to school with their etrog, lulav, and/or shofar if possible. 

NET CLASSROOM    

 

All HAMC Parents of K-8 Students and all HAMC Middle School Students:

You should have received an instructional email today containing a unique ID and LOGON code for use with Net Classroom.  If you did not receive an email today regarding Net Classroom, please contact Jill Granik

EMERGENCY FORMS

 

The Emergency Form is our primary source for contact phone numbers and medical information for your child in case of an emergency.

 

We need a NEW Emergency Form  for each HAMC student at the beginning of each school year.  If you have not already done so, please send the form in to the office as soon as possible.  Click here to print the Emergency Form or contact Michele in the Main Office to have blank forms sent home with your child.

AFTERCARE  

 

Aftercare will end at 5pm on Wednesday, September 25th. 

WILLOW BRANCHES NEEDED

HAMC LUNCH CREW VOLUNTEERS NEEDED  


We need dedicated HAMC parents to cook and serve our delicious, healthy and affordable lunches on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays!  Please volunteer for one day or more - contact Kathy Neibart.

TIKKUN OLAM

 

ThanksGIVEing Event - Friday, November 22nd - free and open to middle school students - During the month of November the HAMC will be collecting travel size toiletries.  All donations are asked to be dropped off in the main foyer between November 4th and November 22nd.

CELL PHONE RECYCLING PROGRAM!!!  The Green Team will be paid for every cell phone --any model, even non-working ones!  Send your old phones into the office - Contact Joy Sussman at hamcgreen@gmail.com with questions. 

8th GRADE ISRAEL TRIP FUND RAISERS

  • NO Breakfast for Lunch through September             
  • Need a night out without the kids? Need a babysitter for the ECC Back to school night? The current 8th grade class is offering babysitting services to fund-raise for their trip next year to Israel. Both boys and girls are available. The 8th grade students will be babysitting at the school on Tuesday, October 1st during ECC Back to School Night.  The cost is $10 per child and all proceeds go toward the 8th grade trip to Israel.  Children are required to be out of diapers.  Please contact Randi Rosenstein at Rar0529@gmail.com or call 973-460-9830 to reserve your spot now, before the spots fill up!

Mark your calendars!   On Oct 22nd at 9-10:30am in the HAMC auditorium

Laurie Leinwand, MA, Certified Coach, Licensed Professional Counselor, Speaker, Author and former HAMC parent will make a presentation entitled  

"The Secrets to Saying NO: Learn How to Set Healthy Boundaries". 

This presentation is designed to help you reaffirm where you want to dedicate your resources, and how to convey those intentions to others as honestly, comfortably and effectively as possible.

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION  

 

We are preparing to submit our boxtops for reimbursement!  Please save and send your Boxtops into the office by Friday, October 18th.  Please continue to send them in throughout the school year. Easy fundraiser!

MITZVAH PROJECTS

Please support Aaron Golomb in his Bar Mitzvah project by donating items for the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. You can check the list of preferred donation items posted on the wall and leave your donations in the box located in HAMC lobby.
