MODEL SEDERS

 

Volunteers needed for Seders on Monday, March 18th (K-8) and Tuesday, March 19th (ECC).  We appreciate any time you can give, even an hour helps.  We will also need help on Sunday, March 17th to set up.  Please contact Ellen Ezra at ellengayler@yahoo.com .

BOOK FAIR

  • Wednesday, March 13 thru Friday, March 15th.  The book fair will be open from 8:30-4 on Wednesday and Thursday and 8:30-2:30 on Friday.  
  • Volunteers are needed after school on Tuesday, March 12th, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to work the fair and on Friday after school to clean up and pack up.
    To volunteer, please contact sharialtman@embarqmail.com.  
  • Students will be visiting the fair on Wednesday, 3/13 with their classes.  Wish lists will be available for students to fill out to be reviewed and approved by parents. 
    Please send your child to school with money to purchase books.  
  • Author Visit:
    Ofer Aronskind will be meeting with HAMC students in grades 4-8 on Thursday, March 14th from 2-3pm.  Click here for information about the author visit.  Go to www.sleepawaysummercamp.com to learn more about Ofer Aronskind.    
  • Order personally autographed copies of Mr. Aronskind's books! Complete and return the Book Pre-Order form with payment (payable to HAMC) to your child's teacher by Friday, March 8th. Click here to print the Book Pre-Order form
    We urge you to support the author and attend yourselves if at all possible.  
  • Order online!  Please contact www.allbookfairs.com and encourage family and friends to place orders under HAMC.  During the HAMC book fair 25% of every online sale will go to HAMC with free shipping on all orders over $50.  For one year afterward 20% of every online sale will still go to HAMC.  Online orders will still have to be called in for payment.  
  • Gift certificates
    will be available for purchase before and during and the fair to be used at the fair and/or online.

8th GRADE ISRAEL TRIP FUND RAISERS

  • Breakfast for Lunch - Friday, March 8st  - French Toast and Brownies - $5 per serving   
  • The 8th grade garage sale will be held on Sunday, March 10th, rain or shine!   Drop off items (no clothes, stuffed animals or TVs please) at the Kahana's.  To schedule a drop off time, please email Stacy Kahana at sbsulman@yahoo.com or call 347-446-5521. 
         
  • Homemade Challah for Passover!  Frozen challah loaves and rolls for sale to bake at home.  Click here to print the order form.

SUMMER ENRICHMENT  WEEK 

 

June 24th - 28th:  This camp is designed for children entering kindergarten to bridge the gap between the end of school and the start of the local day camps. Click here for registration form.

TIKKUN OLAM CLUB  

 

The HAMC Tikkun Olam Club is participating in JRA Day on Sunday, March 17th, from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Berger Auditorium, 226 Sussex Avenue,

Morristown. We will meet at 10am to pack food boxes for about 1/2 hour, volunteers will make their deliveries, and volunteers can expect to be home before midday. Click here for more information

BOX TOP FUNDRAISER 

Please continue to collect box tops and submit them throughout the year.  This is a continuous program which helps raise money for the school.

PARENT ASSOCIATION FUND RAISERS 

  • Kosher by Design - Passover cookbooks by Susie fishbein are available for purchase.  Please contact Alison or Sheryl or email pa.hamc@yahoo.com.   
  • If you have not done so already, please either return any unsold KidStuff books or send in your payment of $25.00 per book.
