Throughout the remaining months of 2015 our Pastor will focus his messages on the Basic Essentials of our faith. There are four absolute necessities (functions) for the local church. Getting back to the basics is a way for our church to strengthen the foundation of our ministry here in Pensacola. Don't miss these exciting and challenging messages!

Church-wide Picnic & Baptism in the Bay
@ Blue Angel Recreational Park
Cost for lunch is $5 for adults & $3 for children (ages 10 & under). You may pay when you arrive at the park if you have not previously paid.

Note:  Park Entrance fee is paid for - the $5.00 or $3.00 per person fee is for the food - you pay that at the pavilion  - not the gate.

Discipleship University has begun! It's not too late to join. Classes meet Sundays at 5:00 pm in the Holy Grounds Cafe.
The powerful movie "War Room" has reached the hearts of many over the past weeks. Come be a part of the War Room Bible Study. Session topics include: Dealing with Spiritual Lukewarmness, Christian Accountability, Grasping Grace and the Gospel, Engaging in Spiritual Warfare, and Trusting God in Prayer. We will have two groups, one for men and one for ladies. You may sign up today on the welcome tab of your church bulletin.
 
 
KEENAGERS ANNOUNCEMENTS

-Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015, at 10:00 A. M. in the fellowship hall. Our program will be a new group for us, LOOKIN' UP, A Southern Gospel Quartet. The theme will be celebrating the fall season. Please bring a dessert and/or covered dish to go with fried chicken. A donation of $3.00 is requested to help cover the cost of the meal. -A one day mystery trip is being planned for Tuesday, November 10th, 2015. The cost will be $45.00 per person and will include the cost of transportation, lunch, and entertainment. This trip will be discussed at the October 6th meeting and a signup sheet will be passed around if you are interested in going on this trip. For information contact Ken/Becky Richmond. 
 
 
THE CLOTHING ROOM is open on Tuesdays, 9:30am - 11:30am. Clothing donations are ONLY accepted during this time. Thank you for your cooperation.

This event will be here before we know it so please begin donating bags of candy and if you are able donate your time and service to make this outreach event a success. Please bring individually wrapped candy to the church office. Let's make this event a great outreach success as we have done each year.

THANK YOU to all the volunteers who were involved in making the Family Night and StrongMan Conference a success last weekend!
Special thanks to those who provided: lodging for the Strength Team members; meals and refreshments for the weekend; transportation for our guests; audiovisual support; and follow-up phone calls. Also THANK YOU to the stage crew, altar counselors and ushers.

 
 
TOYS FOR CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS
Again this year our CSM volunteers will collect and distribute Christmas toys for needy children. Please bring your donations of new toys to the church office. Additionally, Sunday school classes and groups are encouraged to adopt a family and provide gifts for the children in that family. More information will be provided in the near future.

October 8-15, 2015
Please pray for Pastor Ron Lentine as he goes to provide T4T training to Hispanic men and women who have been called to serve in missions.

January Mission Trip

January 2-10, 2016

This trip will be for the purpose of helping our IMB missionaries with VBS. The following training will be provided in November for those wishing to participate.
- Child Protection Training
- Prepare Your Heart/Pack Your Bags
- Safety Orientation
Estimated cost is $1,100 - Passport required
Deadline to commit to the trip is November 1, 2015
