Keenagers Meeting: Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 1st, 2015, at 10:00am in the fellowship hall. Our theme is "Labor Day." The program will be the Wright Street Boys. The meal will be provided by Piccadilly with banana splits for dessert. A $5.00 minimum donation is recommended to help cover the cost of the meal. Do not bring any food for this meeting.


KEENAGERS TRIP:

 Fall Trip to Pigeon Forge, TN, sponsored by the Keenagers October 13-16, 2015. Cost $475 per person, double occupancy. Due to some cancellations we have some seats available if you are interested in going. This trip is open to our non-church members. For more details, contact Ken or Becky Richmond.

Attention: Parents of Children Grades 1-6

Upward Basketball/Cheer-leading  update

-There will be an important meeting on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at 4:00pm in the fellowship hall. This meeting will be for all parents of our children, grades 1-6 (along with other interested adults) concerning the Upward Basketball ministry here at Myrtle Grove.

-Unfortunately, at this time with Bro. Ron Pouliot retiring and no one available to step in as a director/coordinator for this ministry, it is unlikely that we will be able to have Upward Basketball this fall. Not only do we not have a director, but we are also short on coaches, referees, and other workers. This ministry is very dependent on willing volunteers.

-We want this ministry to continue here at Myrtle Grove Baptist. If you are willing to help to make this happen in the fall of next year (2016), please attend this meeting. If you have any questions pertaining to Upward or would like to share any comments concerning this ministry, please attend.

-Immediately following the Upward meeting at 4:45pm, we are inviting parents of children grades 1-6 to stay for a time of vision planning. This will be a time to share our thoughts and ideas concerning the future of our children's ministries here at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

-For the parents who attended our meeting on August 16, please bring with you the ideas you have written down and invite other interested adults to come with you to the brain-storming session.

-Remember, keep on praying and fasting. God has great things in store for His church.
