School Supplies
Will You Help Share the Love of Jesus?

School will soon be back in session and many of our area children will need help in obtaining their school supplies.  As in previous years, we are now collecting school supplies to be given to our "Partners in Education" at Myrtle Grove & Sherwood Elementary Schools.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:40,  The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me"

The following items are needed:

Pencils, pencil-top erasers, pencil boxes, red ink pens, highlighters, duo-tang folders, backpacks, white copy paper, kleenex, paper towels, hand sanitizer.

Many of the other items {paper, crayons, markers, etc.} are provided to the schools through the "Cram the Van" program.

Please bring your school supplies to the Church Office or to the Minister to Children & Families' Office located in the Family Life Center.

A complete list is located at the Welcome Desk.

For His Kids,

Today all of our adult members are encouraged to consider giving a financial gift above your regular tithes and offerings.

This gift will be for the restoration of our church facilities as follows: Replacement of carpet surrounding the sanctuary and in the offices and replacement of ceiling tiles and light fixtures in the fellowship hall.

NOTE: Those members who receive their income on the first of each month may give their offering in the weeks ahead. Designate your offering as "church restoration."

The Master's Light Force:

The MASTER's LIGHT FORCE:

This will be an evangelistic effort to reach out to our unchurched neighbors, friends, and coworkers with the good news of the gospel.

This will be a church-wide opportunity for everyone to be involved in reaching those this summer who are far from God.

Stop by the info table in the main foyer for more information.

A Great Commission Challenge

I.        Identify and pray for a lost person within the circle of my life.

II.        Develop a relationship with that person over a 3-month period.

III.       Invite this person to the evangelistic event that will be held on Sunday, August 23, at the close of this 3-month challenge.

Thanks for reading...

Sincerely,
