Summer Schedule at MGBC
Beginning on Sunday, June 21 (VBS Family Day), we will move to a new summer schedule that will continue through August 23
1. We will combine the morning services for one great worship experience at 10:30am each Sunday (a blend of contemporary and traditional music).
2. Casual dress is encouraged throughout the summer months (but optional).
Also, please remember during the summer, to be faithful in your financial giving. God Bless You!

Midweek Bible Study
Join Pastor Ron on Wednesday evenings at 6pm as we study the Bible

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
.
Vacation Bible School, as most of you know, is one of the best opportunities we have all year long to invest spiritually in the lives of our boys and girls. Please be a part of this year's VBS in one or more of the following three ways. 1) Volunteer to serve in some area of VBS during the week. 2) Pray for the workers. Pray for the children who attend. 3) Invite neighborhood children, friends and family to attend VBS in June. |
Wednesday Night Supper 4:45-5:45 PM (FLC)
$5.50 per person needs to be prepaid (to Lorna or Cami) by 11:00 AM on the preceding Friday.

A GREAT DAY OF GIVING
On Sunday, July 26, we would like to encourage all of our adult members to consider giving a financial gift above your regular tithes and offerings.
This gift will be for the restoration of our church facilities as follows:
Replacement of carpet surrounding the
sanctuary and in the offices;
Replacement of ceiling tiles and light fixtures in the fellowship hall.

VBS Celebration Day
 VBS Celebration Day: On Sunday, June 21st, we will have a combined worship service at 10:30am to celebrate our week of VBS.
This will be an exciting time as we welcome our VBS families, our contemporary service family, and our blended service family in one service.
The children will fill the stage and sing many of the songs they learned and we will share what the Lord has done during this week of outreach to our community.

VBS Neighborhood Follow-Up
On Tuesday, June 30, from 6:30pm to 7:45pm we will have a visitation follow-up, reaching out to all the families whose children attended this year's Vacation Bible School.
We will target those families who are currently without a church home.
Please mark this date on your calendar and join other members of our church in this follow-up effort.
We need to have many of our members to come out for this visitation;
the more that come the more ground we can cover that evening.
This is one of the best opportunities all year to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Master's Light Force
Coming in the weeks ahead . . . This will be an evangelistic effort to reach out to our unchurched neighbors, friends, and coworkers with the good news of the gospel. This will be a church-wide opportunity for everyone to be involved in reaching those this summer who are far from God. See the insert in today's bulletin. |
