KEENAGERS: Due to the sellout of seats for the Tuesday, November 11th, 2014, mystery trip a second trip has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 18th, 2014.

 

If you are interested in going on the second trip you must sign up and pay the $35.00 (for trip & lunch) by Sunday, November 2nd, 2014.

CHURCH-WIDE PICNIC & BAPTISM IN THE BAY

 

 

Following the morning worship services our members are invited to meet at Blue Angel Recreational Park for our

Picnic and Baptism in the Bay beginning at 1:00pm.  

 

 

The menu will be hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings along with drinks. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 10 years old and under.

 

You may bring your checks or pay cash for the food when you arrive at the park.  

 

The park entrance fee has been paid.

 

Directional maps to the Blue Angel Recreational Park are available at the info counter.  

 

The afternoon schedule is as follows:

 

1:00pm - 2:00pm Picnic lunch is served at pavilion

 

2:00pm - 2:30pm Baptism in the Bay

 

2:30pm - till Games, volleyball, swimming, etc.

Today . . .

Following both worship services you are invited to Open House at the MGBC Tutoring House.Please take time to come tour our tutoring house where we are striving to meet the educational needs as well as the spiritual needs of the children and families in our community. This ministry is a way we can introduce children and families to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities through the tutoring program.

 

REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED.

 

Also . . .Walk by the prayer garden located on the front side of the tutoring house and see the beautiful landscaping that has been done.

Tutoring Ministry News

  

If you have a child who is struggling in reading and/or math, please contact Jane Bonelli  or the church office for an application.  

 

We are also in need of tutors for all grade levels. Please consider investing in a child's education to help him/her experience success.

  

 

 

 

  

 

 

FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL is just around the corner. On Friday, October 31st from 6:00 - 8:00pm, our church will once again offer the children of the Myrtle Grove and surrounding communities an alternative to trick-or-treat. We need your help in making this a special event for these children. Individually wrapped candy donations are needed. Boxes have been placed in the church office and the FLC.

  

  

 
Pastor's Class-Sunday, November 2 @ 4:30pm
in Fellowship Hall. New members and those interested in membership are encouraged to attend this class led by Pastor Ron.

A light supper and childcare are provided.

Registration fee is only $65 ($75 after November 3rd.)
